Smith & Wesson M&P SWMP13BS 8.2in High Carbon S.S. Folding Knife with 3.5in Serrated Clip Point Blade and Aluminum Handle for Tactical, Survival and EDC

Not really big or heavy but may be too big for some to carry in jeans pocket. Handle is good for this size knife. Grippy to hold. The handle is often the most important part of the knife and this handle feels good. Blade is not over 3 1/2 inches. May be on the short side of that, but is plenty of blade. Serrations need sharpening. Rest of blade is sharp and pointy. You can flip out the blade with the flipper but needs lots of wrist. Better to practice with the thumb stud to be sure blade comes out every time. This kind of knife is best carried in a nylon belt sheath. Cr8 steel is better than cr7 but will rust if not kept oiled. A good knife that will work for any purpose if you take care of it and use it wisely. Large enough for big tasks yet handles well and is not overly large.

I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this knife! The opening mechanism is so easy and the sharpness is perfect. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I am very pleased with the overall quality and price! Highly recommend!

Solid knife for EDC. Great for cutting open packages, feels great in the hand, and the belt clip is durable enough to stand the test of time. Easy & quick to flip open and the blade stashes securely. Great knife for everything I need!

Awesome knife. Definitely recommend. Sturdy and worth the money

I would not call this an EDC. Its a great survival knife. The rubber grips and size are a little big bulky and hard to pull out of your pocket. The absolute kicker for me though is the clip is on the other end from every other EDC. When you pull it out of your pocket the knife needs to be flipped over to be opened. The blade is a fantastic. The edge has held up well. I pry things I probably shouldn’t. I use it on the farm to slice anything I need open. I clean grime out of screw threads, etc. I just wish it was smaller, smoother/less grippy and put the clip on the other side.

This knife is Sharpe! Both in style and blade characteristics. The weight is balanced with an easy to open blade that stays open until you hit the safety release. This knife has quickly seen it's fair share of oops and abuse in the short while I owned it. Certainly worth the buy.

This knife is very well constructed I had a similar one of a different brand forgot it in my pants pocket in the washing machine and it came apart. I forgot this one twice in my pants pocket and it came out of the washing machine and the dryer perfectly fine. I have to sharpen it every now and then it does not really hold an edge that long but as a utility knife or cutting things and opening boxes it's fine for that. It's made in China like almost everything else but it is a pretty decent knife I bought another Smith & Wesson knife also of a different design because this one was well built. It can be opened with one hand and is a liner lock knife which I believe is the most secure way of locking the blade open and the handle does not slip in your hand, so for the price I believe it is worth it.
