Works fine
This chain works fine as a replacement for the sash cord used to hold sash weights in old wooden windows. The size is just a bit larger than I would have hoped, but the pulleys in my windows are just able to handle it. You might want to consider a smaller chain if your pulleys are a borderline size as are mine. The chain does make a bit of noise, but I do believe it is better and safer than cord, especially in the long run.
