Not sure on weight limit but we hung an outdoor chandelier on it and it hold perfectly

Can this handle snow?

I have not had it in the winter months yet but I would say a heavy snow no. We plan to take the cover off in the winter and just leave the frame. We bought the sand bags that stay on the legs for support.

Does it protect you from the rain?

I’ve used it to put my smoker in for overnight cooks and with the panels on everything stayed dry through some heavy rains.

What are dimensions at base? Will feet land exactly on corners of 10' x 10' square?

Yes, the flange at the base of the four legs will have 1 1/2” clearance from the edges of a 10’x10’ deck.
