Essential Tool! Solved My Military Water Can Leaks!
This JSP Manufacturing Water Cap Wrench is a fantastic item and an absolute necessity for anyone using Scepter, LCI, or Skilcraft Military Water Cans (MWCs). It does exactly what it's supposed to do: provide the perfect leverage to tighten the main cap just enough to create a reliable, leak-proof sealโwithout overtightening and damaging the threads. No more straining my hands or struggling to open a cap stuck on a swollen can! Beyond the main cap, the built-in smaller wrenches for the vent and spout caps are a brilliant touch, making this a true all-in-one tool. It is constructed from heavy-duty, durable glass-reinforced polymer plastic, so I have zero worries about it breaking, even with heavy-duty use. If you want to ensure your water cans are sealed securely for travel or long-term storage, this is the tool you need. Highly recommended!

Simple and effective tool for military water caps
This wrench is a very practical tool if you are using Scepter or Skilcraft military water containers. It makes opening and closing the caps much easier, especially when they are tight or hard to turn by hand. The design is simple but effective, and it feels like it does exactly what it is meant to do. It is also small enough to keep with your gear without taking up much space. A useful tool to have if you regularly use these types of water containers.

Really works! Fits Skilcraft & Scepter, but the right cans, see review
Awesome item. Fits Skilcraft and Scepter 5 gal MILITARY style can caps (be careful, there's a CHEAPER 5 gal/20 L Scepter can out there that's BLUE, and is NOT the same, and this will NOT work on that one. This works on the Scepter 05177 Military Water Container - 5 Gallon (20 Litre), ASIN B00ZLYUOP6 and the Skilcraft 7240013655317 Can, Water, Military, Plastic, Green, 5 Gal, 7240-01-365-5317, available at other outlets. They're basically the same, NATO standard - the Skilcraft is made in the USA, the Scepter in Canada. Aside from slight color differences and markings, they're the same. Saw other reviewers saying they don't fit. Well, you need to know how to use this. It DOES fit BOTH (I have this wrench and I have both manufacturer's cans as specified above, and it works). It's made to fit tightly on the large opening. The trick, fit the notch on the underside of this wrench down on the cap TAB first. There's a notch on the wrench on the HANDLE side of it that fits there. It does take a little push, but it'll fit. THEN, step 2, push down the opposite side of the wrench (across from the handle); there's a notch there that fits over the cap LOOP. Push (it'll go!) down, and now you've locked the wrench securely on the cap. Turn to open. The design is overall brilliant. There's also a vent cap and a small cap that you can attach a spigot to on the large cap. Look at the end of this wrench handle, there's a small hole. Sure, you can put a loop on that and hang it, but it's MADE to open the smallest (vent) cap on the large cap! Then underneath the wrench (it's not "bored through" like the vent tool) is a wrench that'll fit the larger (spigot/pour cap) of the two "on cap" covers. Hope that helps. It absolutely works!

Fits perfect.
Works good to tighten and loosen caps. It is able to loosen the air vent also which can get tight. Put it on a paracord and looped it around the jug handle to keep handy.

No more leaking
Bought this wrench to tighten the Scepter jerry can caps. It provides just enough leverage to make sure all three caps are screwed on securely. No more water leaking while traveling on rough roads! The wrench is well built with no rough edges like you find on some products. Well thought out design!! Would purchase again if I lost this one.

YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT WATER CAN LEAKS!
1. Hand-tightening the Scepter water may not be enough. I used this to make it snug enough for no leaks. 2. Other cans are too flimsy to survive a drop and may not be stackable. These are. 3. The 2.5G is much more manageable than the 5G. 4. The handle is nice and holds nicely. They are round, so they may cause slippage if your hand is oily or wet. 5. Its thickness is sufficient to be carried outside a truck. 6. The design is timeless and rectangular.

You need one of these!
This wrench is a must have if you have a Scepter military grade water container. The people who complain about leaks donโt have one of these!

Doesn't fit any of my 5 cans.
I have 3 different makes and models and sizes of fuel cans, this doesn't fit ay of them. Well made, but too large of an opening for my Sceptre cans, which were the ones I needed a wrench for.
