We have a Motor Home and when we travel we tried several different methods for making coffee, French press, etc. We are spoiled at home with our automated coffee machine that does milk based fancy drinks that we have become accustomed to. We tried bringing our home coffee machine with us a few times, worked fine but its just a big machine that takes up a lot of room, which we don't have in a small motor home kitchen. Not a lot of options in an automated coffee machine that's compact though, I was actually looking at a Keurig type machine when I stumbled across this little gem. This is basically a Keurig but WAY better. Ease of a Keurig with the fancy options of an automated machine. I was so excited when I found this, its small and compact but also does all the fancy milk based drinks we want when we travel. (I mean when you get old and spoiled you want what you want!) We had already been using Lavazza beans for our home automated machine so we get to use the same coffee we love and now have a compact machine that will do the drinks we want too. Although I am not usually a big "pod" fan for traveling they work so great! No messy coffee grounds to deal with or pack, everything is in a nice neat pod that makes morning coffee fast and clean. Now, taste! OMG this machine makes amazing coffee! So much so that we debate using it at home now as well. The foam froth being from a spinning design steams/whips up the milk and creates a soft and decadent foam that is so creamy and delicious, just like a coffee shop.(our home machine just steams it so its not as smooth of a foam) Coffee brews flavorful and hot and the end result drink is so good! We certainly feel spoiled being in the middle of no where and having the best cup of coffee to sip every morning. It doesn't take up much space, makes excellent coffee, the pods are easy to pack and stay fresh - no griding of beans needed. Cleaning the machine is simple as all the pods drop down into an easy bin you just pull out and dump. The screen is easy to use, it brews fast and coffee comes out piping hot. I got this on a black Friday deal for about $135 and that feels like a steal for what this machine does and the quality of coffee. Absolutely love it and highly recommend.

the coffee is very good, the options with dairy (foam) work excellent, and coffee is hot (not super, but as hot as any cup instant brew.) Not trying to sound like a fanboy, but this is a great product and worth the money. Have owned Keurig, Tassimo, and a Nespresso. This Lavazza machine blows them all away. only thing that is a bit of a pain is the cups aren't sold in almost any stores. so don't let your supply run to low before ordering online. Also they coffee is twice the price of cheaper cups. But its also twice as good in my opinion. one other small drawback. it only comes with one cup and lid device to make dairy based drinks. so can't enjoy a cup with someone else unless you buy and additional cup or pour into different cup. And they aren't cheap $70 ish and are almost impossible to get. I ordered one, and two weeks later the seller cancelled order.

Coming from a country with an incredible variety and quality of coffee, my standards have always been pretty high. As a coffee lover, I am constantly looking for that authentic flavor that transports me straight back home. After trying many different brands (and being a loyal Peet's fan for a long time), my son—who isn't a coffee drinker himself, but his wife sure is!—recommended Lavazza. I have to admit, I completely fell in love. What I loved most: The flavor profile: I found a robust, bold flavor in Lavazza, but with the huge advantage of not causing any acidity at all. It is a spectacular balance. The variety: The brand offers a fantastic range of options to suit any taste, including Espresso, Ristretto, and Double Intense, among others. Unbeatable value: It is an absolute win-win compared to other brands. A box of 36 pods costs approximately $24, and you can even find it on discount for as low as $19. Versatility at home: Even though the brand offers excellent options for a latte, lungo, black coffee, or macchiato in 1 machine, we have our undisputed winners at home. My choice: The Espresso Intenso. I make it every morning as a cappuccino, and it is undoubtedly my daily fuel. My husband's choice: A double espresso sweetened with a touch of honey. The only "con": The only bad thing is that once you try it, nothing else measures up. It raises the bar so high that it ruins other coffees for you. Highly recommended!

Italians do it best! The machine is simple to use and the coffee pods are top quality! Lavazza did not disappoint. I love how the mug is glass and not plastic and I love how many parts of the machine are dishwasher safe. The only con is that the pods are difficult to find in Canada but you can buy from many suppliers in the USA. I am very happy with my morning lattes and cappuccinos!!!

I purchased this machine after using Nespresso machines for years. Why? After using one of these machines at the Four Seasons, in Nassau I saw how much better, far better this system is. The coffee is much richer because the capsule is 50% bigger. I was surprised to learn the the 2x capsule does a double espresso with the same quality from one capsule that costs the same as a regular one. Also, making milk drinks is very easy. Two downsides: the capsules are very fragile and can jam if you aren't careful. Also, the item is shown as non returnable on Amazon though there is a 1 year guarantee. The price on this device was $145 recently which was a bargain.
