Love this top coat. Amazing product, protects polish and last for a long time. Nails look great.

I really tried to show just how shiny this top coat is on my thumb nail in the above photo. It's hard to show in a photo but this top coat is really thick polish that coats your nail like a lacquer. It really does dry fast which is amazing. I only bought this because it was a gel look alike and not really a gel polish. You don't have to soak and soak your nails in remover to get it to come off. So you get all of the benefits of a gel polish without any of the bad effects. The price is fair as well. I highly recommend this polish.

I really like the high gloss finish of this top coat. It’s not as long lasting as another brand of quick dry top coats I’ve been using for the last few years, but has a lovely glass-like shiny finish.Since the spring of 2020, I’ve been using more nail polish strips than bottled nail polish. It’s easier to use, less drying time, and the adhesive conforms to my nail better as they grow, making the mani last longer. To help set the polish strips and extend the life of my mani, I usually put a clear quick dry top coat on top of the nail polish strips. As with other quick drying top coats I’ve used, this gel effect top coat felt dry to the touch after just a minute or so. However, there’s still a bit of time needed for the topcoat to cure and harden. This is also similar to other quick dry top coats. I noticed on the next day that I had dented one of my nails near the tip before it dried properly.Typical shimmer or glitter polish strips can last 2-3 weeks without significant chips after I seal it with clear top coat. With this particular gel effect top coat, I started noticing small cracks in the mani on day 6, not very noticeable and didn’t chip off yet, but the overall life of the mani is cut in half from my usual since I’ll redo once I start seeing imperfections. I did messed up one of the nails before it cured, the small chip was expected from that and I did not attribute it to the durability of this top coat.The bottle is standard sized and the brush is comparable to most nail polish brushes.The listing price is higher than another brand that I normally use. Drying time is also comparable to other quick dry polish and top coats I’ve used in the past.I get lazy sometimes and leave the mani for two weeks (if there’s no chipping) until it grows out too much for my taste. While I really like the high shine glossy finish of this top coat, the trade off is a shorter mani life expectancy. I took off a star for that. If you normally redo your nails every week, this probably wouldn’t be an issue.

I thought this was going to be compatible with regular nail polish but all it does is create a thick layer that peels right off within a day or two. It isn't very nail art friendly either in that you need quite a lot to "float" the brush which makes the peeling issue worse.For me Essie Good To Go will still be my to go.

Wondering if this is normal to have on this type of top coat and how long should odor last even after totally dry and washing hands several times, otherwise it’s looks great and easy to applySpoke with Amazon and this item will be researched by their team and I’m disposing of it super carefully in sand with plastic bag handing it personally to garbage man, as I opened it again and smell was so toxically strong had to reclose black glass container immediately, only received one review to my posted questions “ That was not my experience with the product “ maybe mine was a old or something happened to it before string to me, not worth the risk to use again and wanted to return to Amazon so they could dispose of it safely but that wasn’t a opinion, so I followed the safest way to prevent it to go the landfill, enter water or explode inside regular garbage can where it may explode with heat, never had a experience like this with any product in my whole life and would have paid to return it so Amazon research team could run a analysis on this nail polish top coat that can enter via your fingernails into your system on top of breathing it into your lungs! Bottle was black glass with black plastic lid, I was told by CS they will request a study to check this itemWas glad they do care about consumer and environmental safety for all‼️

This clear gel-like top coat works well on top of colored polish and no UV light needed. It is a thicker formula and I just used 1 coat. It dried hard and glossy just like true gel polish. I painted my toes 2 weeks ago and they're still holding up without any chips and still looks just as shiny. I tried another brand that claimed to be a gel-like top coat and it just ruined the actual polish as it never hardened and it would show my finger print when I pressed my nail and if i dragged my finger, the nail polish dragged down too. I recommend this Durilac brand for those who want the gel polish look but don't want to expose your skin to UV light and then spend 15 minutes soaking the gel polish off.
