I have been looking for a book like this for a LONG time. This is the only book I have ever found that describes not only ghosts and hauntings in detail - from energy concepts to what defines a ghost to the difference between a residual haunting and an intelligent haunting - but that knowledge is fully rounded out by Bellanger's narration on how to effectively deal with spirits. She doesn't only address how to protect yourself when you go into a situation, she talks about how you can help clear a haunting. She also gives you adequate information as to how to explain the phenomenon to any 'victims' of a haunting. Because a large portion of those people who suffer from hauntings are simply unaware of how the spirit world functions, that information in this book alone makes it well worth the measly $10 Amazon charges for the Kindle version.I wish I had written this book. Bellanger's writing style is down to earth (if a bit technical at times) but thoroughly accessible to readers of any skill set. I myself am a natural psychic medium and so these concepts were already familiar to me, but this was the first time I encountered someone of these concepts and theories written down, concisely and accurately, in one place - and in a way that I may easily refer to when I am dealing with a client who does not understand the mechanics of the spirit world.Another amazing aspect of the book is that Bellanger has written it so that a hopeful skeptic, a Christian, an agnostic and even a Pagan/Wiccan may read this book and take information and experiences from it. Again, this is an extra value of the book that makes the $10 price tag worth the investment.Belanger discusses the principles of psychic protection first and foremost in the book and addresses the idea that it's all mind over matter. She uses anecdotes to help demonstrate her points, which I found to be not only helpful but extremely clever. If you're in a hurry, she's also provided a summary of the previous chapter's information at the end of each, entitled 'the least you should know'. This is the perfect information to include in a 'working field manual' if you happen to carry such a thing with you while investigating.I would recommend this book to anyone who is remotely interested in how the spirit world works, or in ghost hunting. These are important concepts and it's extremely helpful to have someone give you a few pointers before you foray out into the shadowy world of spirit investigation.

Whether one is a beginner in the field of Ghost Hunting, or just a person looking to add to their general knowledge about the topic of energy manipulation, and protecting oneself from all the negativity floating around out there..., this book is a great addition to anyone's library! I highly recommend this, and any other books by this author! Michelle Belanger has a knowledge far beyond her "Earthly" years..., and is a highly sought after consultant regarding many "Worldly" and "Other-Worldly" topics of conversation and research. If your unable to actually spend time with the incredible Michelle Belanger yourself, owning one, or all, of her books will give you not only great insight into the way that she herself "sees" this World, but will also allow one to add to their own knowledge about a wide array of "Other-Worldly" topics without having to go through all the pitfalls which might possibly come from conducting investigations and doing research into these fields of study; without being properly prepared! Don't be one of those unprepared "Investigators" whom go out looking for something that their not actually prepared to deal with!This book also helps one to deal with the everyday negativity that one is constantly bombarded by these days (with specific ways to protect oneself). It also explains (with various examples, diagrams, and definitions) how one might take in the "positive aspects" of daily life (without all the negative side-effects), while returning that positivity to others around oneself; without becoming "over-extended" emotionally.I want to personally thank Michelle Belanger for writing this book! It has helped me to understand, and deal with certain topics which I've tried (unsuccessfully that is, until your book) care of for many years now!

One of the best books on psychic protection I’ve ever read, and I’m trying to read everything i can find. Not just for ghost hunters! But if you are one, READ THIS. It is fantastic, entertaining and SO informative. Michelle is a psychic vampire herself so she really knows what she is talking about and it shows. Once I started reading this one I had to put down a different book by Ted Andrews (which is also great)... but this one just pulled me in. I’ll be seeking out more of Michelle’s books for sure!

One issue that I have had with many "psychic protection" books is that they are written from the point of view of a single religious belief system. Michelle Belanger does an excellent job in this book of demonstrating different approaches to psychic protection, approaches which do not exclude any single belief system. For a spiritualist with... "complicated" beliefs, this book has helped me to find ways to incorporate many of these protections into my own belief system, without feeling like I am being hypocritical about what I'm doing.Furthermore, it follows an easy-to-understand format, and illustrates each section with an on-going storyline that helps to introduce each of the points that she covers. The book's only drawback is that the dialogue in the story sections is a bit stiff (but if you're buying this book for the potential dialogue, you have WAY too much money on your hands. Buy something by Mark Twain, instead. Seriously).Experienced, or more educated, psychics may find it too elementary, but for people (like me) who have only started to embrace the concept of psychic protection, this is an outstanding place to start.Otherwise, this is an excellent book, and I am grateful to Ms. Belanger for writing it, and presenting the information so well.
