I got this as a part of my 2022 Alchemy Witch themed Halloween decor. It’s actually still a work in progress because I’m experimenting (pun intended) with various items, but this heart is definitely the anchoring piece that gives it the science lab look versus just a witchy apothecary feel. I don’t have a ton of space and the heart being on a post really helps give the scene dimension plus frees up space for shorter items to be placed around and under it without it getting drowned out. I can’t speak to the accuracy of the size or it’s various chambers but it’s a fairly well detailed science classroom/lab article. It doesn’t look cheap or cheesy in my opinion but I’m no medical professional. I absolutely love this piece and wouldn’t mind having this on my desk all year round. ( I have strange tastes.. haha) …. five stars from me. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

An excellent model to understand the structures in three dimensions!Since the heart is two pieces, it is less susceptible to missing parts and damage from students handling it. Additionally, the part that separates from the larger portion that remains on the stand to reveal the internal features is exceptionally easy to reattach since it magnetically snaps into place without any rods or other fasteners that can break. The rubber that the heart is constructed of is slightly pliable, but not very. A real heart looks different and the structures are considerably less easily recognized since the coloring is considerably less differentiated, especially after being preserved. The stand may not be the most resilient, but when handling the model, the model should be removed from the stand (easy to do - just lift the heart up off the rod). Once the model is of the stand, the stand can no longer can be damaged of course.

I have to admit that I've taken anatomy twice, one semester for my LMT license, then a more intense class as part of my Masters program. And heart anatomy was a week point of mine. (Rest assured, I don't need to know heart anatomy for my work.) I had a hard time visualizing the blood flowing in and out of the heart and the order that oxygenated blood moves through chambers and valves. This gives me the ability to visualize the system. This model is much more detailed than the listing makes it appear. All features are numbered and there is a reference card with the names. It's actually pretty heavy and is sturdy. Besides the educational component, it looks very nice and it would look great displayed along with other medical/scientific equipment.

Tactile learners like myself appreciate being able to hold something that we are trying to learn about. With this heart model we can examine in detail the anatomy of a human heart. There are labels on the major parts. The parts are painted to represent blood flow in and out of the heart. It is on a stand so it sits upright, and it is made of durable plastic so it can take some rough handling without breaking. This model would be perfect for a classroom or displayed in your home. I'm in nursing school and it has helped me memorize the parts that I needed to memorize. Thanks. 5 stars.

I absolutely love the Veipho heart model! The quality of the material really is amazing. I have purchased other models that just feel like cheap plastic, but this is a heavier, more durable material. The detail is on point, and I LOVE that it is numbered with a matching insert to tell you what the numbers represent! I wish I had this while I was in A&P, but it will certainly help as I go through the RN program! If your in the medical field & want to buy a quality model, this is it!

I wish I had found this years ago when I was in school. It's easier to learn human body anatomy nowadays thanks to advanced technology but I still believe that the best way to learn this subject is to touch (if that's an option) and feel (at least for tactile learners like myself). This heart model is a great tool, especially for the price. It seems pretty accurate. I wish it included a couple more labels such as left anterior descending artery. And mine arrived with a tilted base stand, like a globe. I'm not sure if it's a quality control issue or a shipping/handling issue. It does not interrupt my learning so I'm not deducting a star but it's something a manufacturer or a seller should be aware.

This life-sized heart model is very nicely molded and painted. I’ll definitely be using it for instructing my college anatomy class. However, poor labeling and documentation simply defeat the whole purpose of this otherwise excellent model. The numbers are hand-drawn on the model with a black pen, and while the handwriting is certainly good the numbers aren’t consistent and they are not dark enough to stand out well. Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm for all these types of models. Making matters worse, only a plain white sheet of text lists the part each number corresponds to. I can’t imagine it would have cost more than a few extra pennies to provide a nice, full-color insert with several labeled photos of all the model parts. The base is also a disappointment, a hollow plastic shell although this won’t be apparent just sitting on the shelf. A wood base would have been much nicer. I also would have liked more removable parts, rather than just two halves. However, this model will work well enough for me as I point out the specific parts myself for the students. The one thing I will say is that if all you want is a desk or shelf display model rather than a functional learning or teaching tool, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with this model and I do not hesitate to recommend it for that purpose. Otherwise, I would advise you to find a similar model with at least a better identification sheet.

To appreciate the wonderful intricacies of the human heart, it really helps to hold one of these models in your hand. It's beautifully detailed, and I love the fact that everything is clearly labeled. This would be great to use as a teaching prop, or just as a cool display item. The heart is nicely displayed on a stand which consists of a metal rod that protrudes from a plastic base. I found that the rod wobbles a little, but I think this could probably be fixed simply by adding a washer to the nut that secures the rod in place (see photo).
