Very disappointing. Two of the buckets seals are too big, resulting in the lids not able to close properly, so it defeats the purpose of why I bought them. I did contact the seller who was very quick at responding and trying to help in finding a solution of buying seals locally. However, I could not find any seals locally so I was refunded £14. This I consider a big insult given the price for the buckets and you cannot find covers for that price. Also, the buckets claims to be food grade but they are not. One month in and I am still trying to get the odour from the one that can close. I finally give up and ended up buying Curtec wide neck screw lid. It was delivered this evening, the lid closes perfectly, it is UN approved, food grade and the scent before it is wash is next to none.

Make sure BOTH the Lid and the Ring have a seal. The seal is designed to keep in freshness in and keep the bugs out of the container. They were also shipped in a heavy duty carboard box. So far, I am very impressed with the quality of the containers. The last 3 containers I had purchased were definitely not made in the USA, had defects and shipped to my home in a clear really thin plastic bag. All 3 items from EconoHome were returned and replaced with the House Natural containers.

Nice and sturdy buckets.

I first ordered this product to put my dog food in. It is great to store food and other type products. This is my second purchase of the item. You will need a rubber mallet for the first use to put the seal on correctly. Pros: It has a tight seal that twists on Sturdy product and handle has a good grip Cons: After cleaning it throughly to put something else in after dog food, the odor is very hard to get rid of.
