Perfect replacement for my forced air furnace.
Been using this as the blower motor in my gas furnace for years now. Quiet and dependable.

From China with love
Bought it for my lathe. Fan motors work fine for turning, where rpms are more important than torque. Twenty minutes to wire it in, and I'm working. Good thing. I got an order for 12 custom spindles the day after. Read the Made in China proviso on the label with a little of natural American disdain. Then I thought, well, there's some Chinese grunt in a factory somewhere, just like me, putting these things together, just like me. If him doing his job right helps me do my job right, bravo. Globalism, in that regard, might not be such a bad thing after all. End.

Nice little 1/3 HP Motor
Excellent value. Wiring EZ-PZ if you have had a small amount of electrical experience. I am a 66 year old grandma and had no trouble. I used it to build a rock polisher from various parts I bought here and on those other people's web site (EB)

I use this motor for wood buffing and it works very good. Not noisy and has plenty of power for buffing at 1750 rpms. It does get hot after running for awhile but it is a non issue - motors get hot. Very easy to wire up to a switch. Instructions are clear and easy to understand.

Great motor
Quiet and powerful. You don't have to worry about it catching fire when you are not around. these have protection against that if something jams the motor from turning. Nicely manufactured and packed. they could have better instructions though- instructions are geared towards a mechanic in my opinion however there is enough there for a layperson if they use Google.

used in a shop built sander
I used this motor for a 2" sander I built from the plans which appeared in woodsmith magazine. At 1/3 HP it does OK for the sander although for this particular build I would probably recommend a 1/2 HP motor or higher. This motor was the recommended motor according to the plans but it really only just meets the minimum requirements. I am super impressed at how quiet it is.

Very good
The motor works as expected. It does get hot when in use (its attached to a metal lathe). It does NOT however come with any wiring directions (as it is reversible). I had to get a hold of Grainger (the main importer apparently)to get someone to help me... Other than that, works good...
