yes but too slowly. Other methods would be way more effective and way faster . i would not bother

Yes, I expect it would cut/melt through a plastic bowl. I used it to cut a part off a circuit board.

How can you remove sticky residue left on the blade when cutting two pieces glued together using Elmer's glue?

Should come off when knife has completely cooled. Don’t touch hot blade!
