It's as simple as it gets
Everything went together nicely the only problem is getting your power line from the back bumper to the front. I suggest follow the frame on the driver side all the way up to the master cylinder and then across to the battery

Works for my 2023 Wrangler 4xe
Fairly easy install considering most parts are plug and play, and running wires around the frame. The only hard part/time consuming was running the ground wire from the rear and going through the framing underneath the car to reach the engine bay. I wanted to make sure the wiring looked clean, protected from debris and avoid catching anything underneath while on the road, and away from the exhaust. Google “etrailer for Tekonsha T-One” for a walkthrough video. That wiring harness is pretty identical to this kit, which helped me a lot. The new plug that connects to the tail lights doesn’t click/lock in as smoothly as the OE. Have to give it a bit more force to snap in and lock, while being careful to not break anything. I do not have a trailer yet, but I purchased the Oviny 4 Pin Male and Female Tester here on Amazon. Everything lit up as it should. Glad to know it’s ready for if I ever need to tow something in the future.

"Works Fine, But Do Yourself a Favor and Upgrade the Connectors"
Overall, this wire harness for the JL Wrangler was pretty easy to install. It does what it’s supposed to do and gets you a working 4-flat trailer connection. That said, running a main power line from the front all the way to the back seems a little overkill for a simple 4-flat setup — feels like something that should’ve been designed smarter from the start. The biggest issue here is the included connectors. They are not meant for exterior use. If you use those, just go ahead and schedule your short-to-ground troubles a few months down the road. I grabbed some heat-shrink, weather-sealed connectors instead, which is what they should’ve supplied in the first place. The wires from the control box to the left tail light could’ve been longer, too. A few extra inches would’ve made mounting the box cleaner and given a lot more flexibility on placement. Once installed properly (with the right connectors), it works exactly how it should. Time will tell how long it lasts, but I’m confident with weatherproofing it’ll hold up.

Easy to install, works great so far
I bought this to replace another aftermarket trailer light harness. I have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. This fixed the issue with the Canbus system in the Jeep. I have LED trailer lights, due to the low power consumption of the leds my Jeep thought the light bulb (usually incandescent) was blown. When this happens the Canbus system slowly pulses the lights it thinks are out as a warning. This box fools the Canbus system into seeing the full draw of an incandescent light bulb. This allows full voltage to pass thru and into the trailer lights. I already had the power home run to my battery. All I had to do was swap out the T connectors and run the green wire and T connector to the passenger side and connect.

Works great, instructions could be better
The 4-pin wiring harness for my Wrangler JL was a good purchase overall. The installation process was relatively straightforward, although the provided instructions were not very helpful. Instead, I relied on a YouTube video that guided me through each step. Despite having no prior wiring experience, I found the setup manageable with the video tutorial. The harness works well and has met my expectations for functionality. I would recommend this product, but be prepared to seek external help for installation.

Short life span.
Had for a year and a half now, trailer lights no longer work. I’ve chalked it up to the modular near the drivers taillight. Lights on same trailer work great on my other vehicle. No blown fuses of any sort and grounds are secure and in great shape. Bummer.

This product does not fit the Jeep Gladiator
The product looks great however it does not fit the Jeep Gladiator as advertised. The inline connectors for the rear tail lights are incorrect and do not connect to the Gladiator connectors.

Well designed plug-and-play kit
For someone with little luck or experience with electrical stuff I found this install to be quite simple on my JL. The biggest job was neatly running the power wire from the battery to the drivers-side taillight.

this was easy to install,but plan your wiring route.There was just enough wire to get to the battery.And also i did not like the clip for the plug in so i made my own.
