Long battery, lightweight, durable
I use my fitbit inspire 3 everyday, mainly to track steps and heart rate. The extra features of Fitbit that require a premium subscription are just OK, and not really needed for me. I did try their free trial, but decided not to continue the premium service. The sleep monitoring is pretty neat though. For connectivity - It is really easy to setup with your phone with their app, but it just isn't for me. The step counter works great, and I use it to try and track my 10,000 steps a day, sometimes finding that I've come close to the goal just doing general work and movement during the day! I like the reminder vibration to remind you to get up and move every once in awhile (I'm sure you can disable this, but I don't). I went with this model of Fitbit because it is much smaller, and much lighter. The fit is really nice, and super lightweight. The screen is still big enough to read it, as the display is bright and clear. It doesn't work well if you want to do extras like messages/email etc, but I don't use it as a smart watch in that way. If you want those features, probably look for a larger model. The durability is another plus for this tracker. I wear it everyday, and without thinking about it (I forget I'm wearing it 99% of the time) I bump and scrape it on all types of things, especially at work because I work with my hands a lot. I can see scruffs and dings all over the edges now after a few months, but zero issues with the functionality, and no real damage to the screen or buttons. Seems that it will take a beating and be just fine. The other thing I really like about this tracker, and another reason I went smaller, is the battery life. I find I have to charge it maybe two or three times a month (at most). I don't really keep track, but it lasts a very long time, even though I wear it all day, everyday. I don't sleep with it anymore, so I'm sure that saves some battery. Either way, the battery lasts a long time, and charge time is very quickly through USB. My only concern is the waterproof type connector that it uses (a design that a lot of smart watches have) might wear down and require their proprietary cable. Because I haven't charged too many times and the charge lasts so long, I'm not super worried about replacing the cable anytime soon, but something to note - you might have to eventually shell out for their special cable. Overall, I really recommend the Inspire 3 is you want a lightweight, small, easy to read tracker. If you are mainly looking for steps/pulse, it is a great device. If you want some of the extras, maybe go a step up and expect to have a heavier device with shorter battery life.

Great for tracking health
To start my review, let me say that I had no desire and no want for a watch that received my text messages or phone calls. In my opinion, those seemed like stupid features because I always have my cell phone on me, so why would I need to get calls and texts on the watch. But if that is something that you are looking for, then you should probably disregard my 5 star review because from what I understand this watch does NOT have a mic for talking on phone calls with and I think it only notifies you when you get a text, but you can't respond to it. You may want to verify that info though because I did not buy it for those things and haven't played with those options at all. I specifically bought this watch to monitor health related things.... daily steps, calories burned, heart rate, oxygen level, sleep patterns, etc. and it really does a great job with all of that. It also allows you to set up daily routines and exercise schedules, though I have not played with those features yet since they aren't overly important to me. I've been using the watch for about 2 weeks now and it really does a nice job of monitoring all health related activity. While monitoring my sleep it tells me an overall score for my sleep, but then also breaks it down to show how much time I spent in an REM cycle, how much time was in deep sleep (to rest your muscles), how much time was in light sleep (to rest your mind), how many times you woke up, etc. Very useful info!!! Not only does it track this info daily, but it also stores it for you can few it in chart and graph format over the course of weeks and months to see where you are improving or where you need to get better. The battery life seems pretty decent. I got about 10 days from a full charge. The face of the watch is small. It's about the same width as the wrist band. I suppose some people might not like that since it can be hard to read, but I personally love the small face. The small face makes it very comfortable to wear and since all of the data can be viewed on your phone via the app that the watch communicates with, the small screen on the watch is fine. I do all the actual monitoring of my health data from my phone. All in all I guess it boils down to you what you looking for. Like I said, this watch doesn't offer much in regards to phone calls and texts and email. If that's what you are looking for, definitely look elsewhere. But if you just need something to monitor heart rate, steps, calories burned, oxygen level, sleep patterns, etc. this thing really does the trick. It's a lot cheaper than other brands out there and the small face makes it comfortable. And from the app you can pretty much do all your tweaking as far as setting up notifications, enabling and disabling certain features, etc. It's not the top watch out there by any means, but it's also alot cheaper than some of the watches out there. If you just need something comfortable to wear to keep track of health and vitals, I highly recommend this guy.

Really like this tracker, but…….see latest update.
I’ve previously had a Charge 4 and then a 5. Like them both, but all good things come to an end. Typical life span a little over 2 years. I’m ok with that. What I really like about this tracker is the smaller size. When my Charge 5 died (tried to wash it off under the faucet), I looked into the Charge 6. Reviews were not reassuring. So this one had more positive reviews and thought I’d give it shot. So far it’s been great. Easy to use, display responds well to touch, screen is legible, and it supports just what I need. Plus, it’s less $$ than the new Charge. At this point very happy with my purchase. Recommended. Will follow up with updates as needed. Update 5-10-24. So within three days battery dropped to 19%. A disappointment given the description states up to 10 days. So I made a few changes in the watch configuration and fully recharged. After36hours battery is at 66%. A week would be acceptable but anything less a disappointment. Update 5-13-24. Turned off always on display. Battery at 44% after 6 days, not bad. Happy I bought this tracker over the Charge 6. Update 6-1-24 Ok, I really like this tracker. Soooo glad I bought it over the Charge 6. It has yet to disappoint me and Im getting at least 8-9 days from a charge. Best part is I like the small profile and simplicity of the display. I see the large display watches and trackers and wonder why anyone would want such a clunky device on their wrist. Now if you wants apps, fancy displays, emergency calling, and all parameters on one screen, this tracker is not for you. So glad I made this purchase. 1-25-25. So the original Fitbit functionality was great throughout the past 9 months until the hinge point of the strap failed. The plastic where the pin secures the strap to the watch fractured. What to do? I tried some epoxy, worked for a few weeks. So I just ordered a new watch. Unfortunately, the watch gave me less than one year of service. Had it not been for its otherwise excellent performance I would have considered abandoning Fitbit. But I went and ordered a new one. Seems the watch is a disposable item with a life expectancy of less than a year. Too bad, seems few things in life have consistent longevity. I’ll have to see how long this one keeps me happy. I’m not going to deduct a star at this point. We’ll just have to see how this goes. 4-11-25 I really like this device. it has performed well. I've been reading a few negative reviews. Seems people expect too much from a small rather inexpensive fitness watch. This device is great as a tracker but is not without fault. Keep that in mind and you won't be disappointed. I think others feel they should get the equivalent of an expensive electrocardiogram or sleep results that you can only get from visiting a sleep center. Ain't gonna happen. Just use the device as it is intended, as a tracker. Overall, once the tracker has accumulated enough data on your habits, it will serve as a reliable reflection of your exercise and health. I think it is worth it and would buy another. 7-10-25 A few more months of use. No complaints. Good tracker. I sync it up with my iPhone and iPad. Sometimes it goes ok other times I need to pair it again. But not a major issue as it does catch up with the latest data. I rely on this compact tracker quite a bit for my steps, distance walked, exercise time, and general sleep quality. it also seems stop on with my resting heart rate. I still like it very much and would buy again. Another update 11-24-25. Watch very reliable thus far. No issues. Again the small profile of this watch is a real plus for me not to mention 8-9 day battery power. Use it mostly to track steps. I have a goal of 11000 steps / day and I’m on track with one month to go for a full year. Will buy another when this fails but I’m hoping to get more than one year out of this one.

Better than an Apple watch, hands down
I've been using Fitbit for several years. One time I followed my friend's advice and bought an Apple watch, but was really disappointed in the difference and returned it. For one, Fitbit lasts at least a week on one charge - but with Apple, you have to charge the thing every single day. It also displays far too much useless information - I can use my phone or laptop for that. All I need is the number of steps, heart rate, and sleep time, which Fitbit provides. The only reason I gave this watch a four instead of a five is because it is buggy. The most notable bug is the spotty sleep time. And this is true of all three Fitbits I've had. But I will still give it four stars because I wear it all the time and haven't found anything better, despite its flaws. The fit of this watch is also very good. I have an extremely small wrist, so it's usually difficult for me to find something that doesn't just slip off. But this watch has such a wide range of fit, that I use the fourth-to-smallest notch on the band!

Easy to us fitness tracker.
I have only had the tracker for about a week and it is working great. I love the color and it fits well on my arm. I like that it came with two bands so I could pick the best size. It was easy to set up and is compatible with the app. The watch face is easy to read and it seems durable.

Exactly as others have reviewed.
Bought this to begin a total knee replacement journey as my original FITBIT expired. It works just as reviewed. I do know the O2 sat is off and mine is taken daily by a nurse. Otherwise the battery is fantastic. I have only recharged once since purchase. I do not have Bluetooth on and as such it extends the battery. However sleep mode will not work without it on. This has been the best tool to keep me on track with my pre surgery tracking post surgery tracking,(1 week out) and intend to use til it expires. Price wise was right where i thought it should be. I wanted basic and it passes with fling colors.

It's a good product with accurate tracking
The watch is really good. I had gotten it while on a sale and I didn't want to spend too much money on something I didn't know if it worked, but I'm glad a bought it. It has a long battery life, I can go days of wearing it 24/7 without charging it and by the time I do charge it it's only dropped down to 40%. It also charges fast. When it's low and I charge it while I take a shower, it's basically at full battery by the time I get out. The screen has a few scratches now, but it doesn't really affect it's functionality or how well I can see the screen. It's also very accurate for tracking steps. I am unsure if it is for the heat rate since I don't have a way to test it, but I trust it, and it's good to know if my heart rate is going up. It does a fairly good job at tracking my sleep, but sometimes it thinks that when I'm awake, but just laying down that I am sleeping, though that might just be a problem for me. Overall really good, and would recommend.

Worn on ankle review
The screen turns on if the chassis is squeezed, and the screen will sometimes turn on in the middle of the night. If you toss and turn, you will inadvertently put pressure on the chassis an activate the screen which is quite bright in a dark room. There is no way to disable this, but after putting it on my ankle, this issue goes away. Sleep tracking works on the ankle (if you are NOT using clip-on body mode). I worry that this Fitbit wasn't tuned for the ankle. That is, I move my ankles less than my wrists when lying in bed. This tracker does not work well when using with a treadmill desk. In order to get an accurate step count, you need to wear on your ankle but tell the app you are wearing it in "clip-on body" mode. This mode unfortunately disables heart tracking. I would love to see a "worn on ankle" mode that addresses these issues. This Fitbit does not track any treadmill steps if my pace is on my treadmill's lowest setting. I hope they adjust the min speed threshold because I walk for hours per day on this setting as I work. The screen is small which is great, but why can't we have all those on-screen controls available in the app too? If I want to toggle clip-on body mode, and it's a tedious to swipe and click on that tiny screen--especially if worn on ankle. My phone, on the other hand, has a large screen. Automatic sleep detection is wildly inaccurate in terms of when sleep begins. This could be a result of wearing it on my ankle. One night it said I went to sleep at 7:20pm and was restless until 11:20pm. In reality, I went to sleep at 11:20pm. There's a way to manually edit the start time which I did, but then later my manual edit was overwritten, and I had to do it a second time. This bug happens routinely. There is an option to tell the device explicitly when you start sleeping and stop in real-time, but if I use this feature, it shows an error code 0x and most of my sleep stats are missing. In general, the software has lots of little bugs like this: the premium feature called "Meet your sleep animal" ignores my manual edits of my sleep start and end times. I know this because it says on average it takes me one hour to fall asleep which way off from my manual edits. Heart rate tracking seems to work perfectly when worn on the ankle. A strategy for treadmill desks users could be to use Fitbit for heart rate tracking and sleep tracking only, and then use your iPhone for step tracking as iPhone is more accurate and convenient. You would just need to place the iPhone in a pocket near the knee (cargo shorts) so that steps are counted. There is no way to manually turn off the device. The only way to turn it off is to let the battery drain to zero. As far as I know, storing a device with zero charge for long periods of time will permanently damage a battery. What I liked about my Fitbit is that I have learned my Resting Heart Rate (RHR) and Heart Rate Variability (HRV). I learned I probably don't have sleep apnea or attrib fib. I'm not using my Fitbit anymore. In a year or so, I will dust it off and check these stats again. I hope my battery still works.
