I've been using this mulch for a couple of years on my cottage garden. It is very good at detering slugs (although this year has been a challenge I wong lie 😂)..and is brilliant at keeping soil from drying out. I have found that my soil (chalky and dries out quickly) structure has greatly improved and there are many more worms now. It also goes a long way. I also use it in potted plants . This supplier always seems to sell at a good price too .(it's cheaper on here than their own website) I recommend you give it a try .

Good for retaining soil moisture. Supposedyslug repellent but my cabbages are still getting munched. Looks attractive in the allotment garden

I use this both to suppress weeds & to add organic matter to heavy clay soil. As an added bonus, it makes life challenging for slugs & snails. Invaluable. Organic, simple, effective.

I’ve been using it to try and keep some moisture in the plants they dry out so quickly this weather. It does help. Looks a bit messy at first but anything5hat helps is worth it.

This is a brilliant garden mulch and is great at preventing slug damage. My hostas look wonderful this year as it has kept the slugs away.

This is the 2nd time of ordering, the Strulch is perfect for protecting my strawberries and rhubarb. After the winter I have dug the old Strulch into the ground and will be putting the new arrival around my fruit once the rain passes. Would definitely recommend, good product at a very good price.

Had awful hard earth under a privet hedge that I was constantly weeding. Finally got about 80% out & put Strulch down after watering well before & after. Looks so much better & didn't even use both bags. No weeds yet. Very happy.
