Totally worth it!

Good alternative to OEM..
Relocated and misplaced the OEM 2” sleeve adapters for the 1” bar ends on a Valor Smith machine. Contacted Valor for replacement and they’re ~2-3 months out on warehouse restock from the manufacturer. In the interim, I purchased these and had some reservation on whether they would (1) fit the bar ends and (2) how they would stand up to the weight of the bumper plates on lifts and rotation of weight but my reservations were put at ease once I got delivery and put them on. Very easy to put on over the 1” bar ends with a set screw. I did have to loosen the set screw and re-screw it (I don’t think it was cross-threaded, just a condition of plastic and metal). I’ve only had them for a few days but they’re working as expected and I’m cautiously optimistic that they’ll last at least until I get the OEM replacement in a few months. Would recommend!

Be careful
These are molded plastic not metal, so be careful. Also it states it fits a 1 inch standard bar, it is molded to fit a 3/4 bar. It can fit 1 inch bats but will take some work and internal grinding. So far is fitting our needs to supply us with two olympic bars

It’s a bit too long, but it works well
This is good and simple to use, you simply tighten the set screw to the standard bar to your exercise machine stack, it comes with an Allen wrench. My only thing l don’t like about it is, it’s a little too long for my taste, but other than that, it’s good to have. Great price and sturdiness!
