Homarden Scare Cats - Angry Black Cat Statues for Outdoor Yard Decoration

I've had ongoing problems with the neighbor cat in my yard during the day, and skunks, raccoons, and deer at night. (Skunks do incredible amounts of damage to lawn). So far I've not seen the cat, and there aren't new holes in the turf. I move them when I mow, and set them back out in different places. I actually hang them from small metal garden stakes so they move a little. Every time I look out there I'm taken aback a little as they look real for just a second. Hope the critters are scared too! I think they're great, and will leave them out there even if the animals get used to them. Great quality, worth the money.

I love how these black cats look! I bought these to use as Halloween yard decorations. They are adorable! And I love the green glass marble eyes. I cannot wait to set them up in my front yard this Halloween. Last year I used a template and jigsaws a Witch from plywood and painted it black. I have a cat template, but after all the crazy cutting on the first piece I didn’t want to do anymore. I was looking for yard decorations on Amazon and these popped up. Now I have three cats in different posses to go with the Witch. Yay! I actually did not realize they are meant to be used to scare birds from gardens until I opened the package. They come with an option to hang the cats from tree (hooks) or attach a spike to the bottom (all hardware is included). I did set one up in one of my tomato containers to see if it would deter what ever is eating them (I think it’s a squirrel) when the turn orange. It did not prevent my tomato from being eaten though. Regardless, I love them for the decor. So cute.

Cute black cats for Halloween and study, they hold strong in the ground.

These are perfect for Halloween and my Garden area, as you can see from the pictures I have made new brackets (angle ones) that attach to the bottom so I can mount (the Cats) to my concrete curb around my Garden area. This will keep the Cats from disappearing from my area. I was very pleased with how will made they were and the eyes are made of a shiny marble material and reflect the light nicely at night to add a bit of an eerie glow. Also the metal stakes are nice to have if I need them for another installation. I would recommend them to neighbors and others when asked where I purchased them from.

Pretty small, about half the size of a cat. The eyes are marbles that are held in my small metal tabs and a couple of mine were bent so the eyes fell out or were loose. One eye got lost when a kid ran into one of the cats on Halloween night. The eyes do not glow and are not reflective like a reflective vest, they are just somewhat mirrored and shiny so reflect like glass if headlights hit them. They do not look like animal eyes look in the dark with headlights so do not cause cars to slow down as much as I would have liked.

Got these for Halloween but ended up keeping them out. From a distance, it looks like there are cats in the yard, and the eyes even reflect light, if it hits them right. They just stick into the ground, so easy to put anywhere and move around all you want. They do get a coat of dry dirt on them after it rains, and it shows on the black surface, so I go out and brush them off periodically. These are just fun to have and we love them!

Aucun oiseau n'est effrayé par ça, comme la peinture n'est pas matte, ça reflète la lumière alors ça n'a pas l'air vrai. Les yeux, eux, ne reflètent pas bien la lumière le soir et ça ne donne pas l'effet annoncé sur les images dutout. De plus, la qualité semble très moyenne et j'ai l'impression que ça va rouiller assez vite sous la pluie.
