Pump now not turning off via timer, it wants to run 24x7. Time is correct, time settings correct, no other timer is active? What gives?

I had the same issue with this pump as the instructions provided were not as clear to me. Once you setup the clock; the timer needs to be set per time zone. Yiu will need to disable the time zones you are not using and once you set the running time then you need to save it by pressing the + button.

I need to replace my current hayward w3sp3202vsp, is this model compatible?

I think the difference between your existing pump and this model is the piping size and therefore the volute (the chamber with the impeller). Specs for your model list the unions as 2” X 2.5”, whereas the 3206 connects 1.5” X 2”. The main difference being in the rate of flow between the two models.I think it all comes down to the size of your pool.

Does anyone know the nameplate amperage on the 230-volt 1.65 HP Model?

The nameplate on my Maxflo vs 500 variable-speed pump (230v, 1.65hp) states amperage to be 0.4 to 10.0.

Is this a drop in replacement for the Hayward Northstar Older single speed pumps?

I had to raise this new pump about an inch to line up with the plumbing on my old 1.5 hp Northstar. This is a far superior pump to the single speed BTW.
