Mini? maybe not
These were not the least bit mini. I didn't mind paying the price if I got the mini cukes, but that was not what grew. Germination was slightly slow, but it grew, and grew ...

These plants are water sponges, you'll never have too much water.
Not sure why all the bad reviews. I just ordered a 2nd pack. Every single one of the seeds from my first pack germinated and grew. These mini-me cuks are actually very forgiving of harsh environments and can bounce back from a traumatic events. I grow them hydroponically in a tower. I've grown them outside, they grew A TON of little cuks and I'm currently growing them inside and they are currently growing vigorously showing many tiny flowering buds. I just planted by 9th. Wife & kids love the taste! Thank you!

So far so good.
So far, so good. Planted 4 seeds, now have 4 sprouts. Germination time was 5 days for 3 of them, 7 days for the fourth seed. In northeast US. These are in a window box off our 2nd floor deck. I plan on running strings to train them back towards the deck to make harvesting easier. I may stagger plantings. Cost of these minis is high no matter where you buy them. A couple of the seeds were broken, but as of now these have an impressive 100% germination rate.

Works great in my Kratky setup.
Received on June 7th, every seed I attempted, germinated. Just picked my first and ate with some of my wife’s dill dip (dill from seed) on July 31st. Crisp, but not tough. Good cucumber flavor. I’ve tried a half dozen other “space saver” cucumbers, this one has been great, to say the least. No more sitting there with Q-tips trying to pollenate flowers. There are literally dozens and dozens of little cucumbers growing. Three more ready to harvest. I have an indoor “Kratky Hydroponic” setup with LED lights.

Very happy
I ordered on 11/8 and it's now 11/13 I've had a sprout for a few days now. I ordered this variety for my Gardyn and so far I very happy and will buy more. I'll try to update after I get some cucumbers. If this works in my hydroponic system I'll be very satisfied. But I really don't see your problem unless the vin gets too big.
