Wide faces beware—even the larger size is not that large
If you're familiar with the typical, standard Ray-Ban fit, these will feel similar. I have a really wide face for a woman, and it's very challenging to find frames that don't look cramped on me. Since there is a 54mm size as well as the 52mm, I naturally picked up the larger, but even so they're just barely wide enough. Not sure they're the best shape for my face, but because the polarization is fantastic and I see just as clearly with them as without them, I'll be holding onto them. And the comfort factor — I put them on for the review, got caught up in chores, and actually forgot they were still on my face, which is saying a LOT because I hate glasses and am sensitive to how heavy they feel on my face. They often dig into the (overly bony) bridge of my nose. These frames did not do that, at least in the hours I had them on. I hope to try them out on the paddleboard and cycling because they have a nice snug fit due to a curved shape from end to end. They are expensive. Like much more expensive than I typically spend on sunglasses — because let's face it, sunglasses can suffer all kinds of mishaps. My favorite pair of 200-dollar sunglasses is now sleepin' with the fishes Luca Brazzi style at the bottom of Greenlake. But I think if you're a person who sees good, polarized sunglasses from a reputable U.S. brand as an investment, and have a standard to narrow face, these will do you right.

Beautiful, ultra high clarity, polarized
Polarized sunglasses are a life essential item. Once you've had a pair you can't go back. These are extremely high quality polarized shades. The clarity is so high that you can put them on indoors and barely tell you are wearing glasses at all! The polarization is completely even across the lenses. These are great lenses. So you get a retro style but what about build quality? Well take a look at those hinges! They are huge and sturdy and they attach directly to a metal spine inside the temples. There is a slant to lenses these that takes a bit of getting used to, but it does lend an especially cool appearance. If they slide down the lower edge might touch your face a bit.The leather case has a magnetic clasp. It also boasts a hump to keep the sunglasses from sliding around too much. It looks classy as well but note it is larger than most sunglass cases. These are made in the USA from a company that clearly cares about their products. That's a huge plus in my book!

Too expensive for all plastic
These sunglasses are smaller than I expected though the description says that it's 54mm. They are super lightweight too. The lenses are good, and the temples adjust well, however, the rims are slightly angled down so it almost feels like they are sliding down my nose bridge. The case is more of a disappointment for me because they look so obviously not like the real leather or the real suede. I might be missing some historical significance of this reproduction, but cannot agree on the price for this pair of sunglasses.
