I bought this for my husband, and he’s usually very picky and doesn’t like most things I get for him, but this time he really liked it. The powder works great it adds nice volume, gives a natural matte look, and the hairstyle holds well throughout the day without feeling heavy or sticky. The only small downside for us is that it’s a bit tricky to use at first, maybe just our experience, but it took some getting used to. Had high hopes for this product - I have mostly fine hair, ~3" long on the top, and I wanted something that would give my hair volume without weighing it down with product. The first time I tried this, I shook a healthy amount directly into the top of my hair, mussed it around, and it mostly held in the way I wanted - volume, good shape, natural color and look. I tried a couple times after that, and couldn't replicate the results from the first time. I tried shaking the powder onto my head like the first time, but couldn't get it to hold (and ended up with powder on my shirt). I rubbed it on my hands and tried working into my hair, but I had to do so many rounds and it still didn't hold where I wanted it to (loose hairs on the side and bangs). Perhaps my hands have too much natural oil that's absorbing too much powder before it gets to my head. It was worth a shot to try a new thing, and I'll keep experimenting with the rest of the bottle, so we'll see if I figure it out, but don't see myself repurchasing this product or any powder hair product in general. A couple notes: 1) I went for a run after putting this in my hair, and it did not hold up to the heat/sweat/exertion 2) As soon as water touches this (e.g. shower), my hair turned into a gross sticky congealed mat. It wasn't immediately water soluble like normal products, I had to gently lather in the shampoo to wash it out. Would be a bit concerned/curious about what would happen in the rain...

This has replaced two different products I was using in my short pixie hair cut. Adds volume and texture to thin flat hair and easy to style and restyle.

Excellent: 1) the volume is smaller than I expected, but I haven't ran out of it after two months use 2) the product works as described, easy to apply and style your hair with it 3) it's not as sticky and smelly as hair gel and hair wax 4) the downside of this product is the time for shipment. It takes about two weeks to ship it to Canada (maybe because it was from UK?)
