Test before renovating old homes!
Super easy to use. Just collect the sample, place in small bags provided, fill out the card, mail it. Once it was mailed we received results within a week, so pretty fast. Results came back negative, just as we suspected, with super detailed information including the pet hair/dander that was in the sample (we have dogs). I would buy this again if I had to.

Fair price for a basic test kit
Comes with two envelopes for samples, gloves and a surgical mask (which really isn’t suitable for asbestos exposure, but is fine if you follow directions) You take the two samples, bag them, then double bag them with the extra envelope that contained the gloves and mask, fill out the card (which is printed on the back of the box insert) drop it in the mailbox and get your results by email a week or so later. It comes with a solid lab report that definitively identifies the mystery material. Exactly what I wanted and not a bad price for two tests.

Phone call needed to lab to clarify processing
Lots of confusion how to do paperwork and register. Website broke and tries to charge you again for test. 2 phone calls later..got issue cleared up

Quick & Easy
Very easy to use. Instructions were easy to follow. Love that lab fees were included & I was able to send in 2 samples. Results took about 5 business days from when they received the samples from me.

Not the best user experiance.
Website does not let you register samples or tests, android does not let you register account. NY State has a surprise $20 per sample fee for asbestos. Overall not cut and dry at all. Spend a little more for a better polished process. Customer service didn't really have much in the way of help. They want you to use the card and send it into the wind. Time will tell if I get the samples.

They ask for more money
We needed two fifferent floortiles tested. Eventhough it says it includes two samples, the instructions tell you to include the tile and the glue for each sample, then the business tells you they need additional money because you included the glue. They misrepresented the process. Also there is an additional fee if you want the results quickly, otherwise they drag their feet. They claim it took a week for the samples to arrive
