How does it compare with Yogo travel mat in terms of packability? (Size when folded)?

If you're looking for this to be your 'stays in my carry on' mat - it is kind of big compared to other travel mats. It folds down great, but it's a thicker mat that I find to be overkill for hotel room yoga (I'm very happy I have it if I get time to hit a studio when on the road though). I use an international size carry on and this mat takes up about 1/4 of my suitcase.

Is this a good mat to put on top of a studio's mat for added thickness?

It is probably not going to add much thickness. I purchased it because it is extremely lightweight and portable for frequent air travel. It is slightly tacky, so good if you sweat, but it doesn’t provide a lot of cushion.

how much does it weigh?

The description says 1.8 lbs. It seems about that light. Much less and a high end yoga mat for sure. Folds to size of a laptop.

Has anyone used this outdoors? I want to use for yoga in the park but worried it will be too thin.

I used it outdoors for goat yoga inland grass, and it was fine for me. Also...very easy to clean with..ahem...harsher cleaning chemicals when nature called the goats...
