Awesome but unexpected!!
This book is so amazing. The series is awesome. Sadly, I rated it a 4 because I thought it was going to be about Pip and Ravi and their future but it was actual a book about how Pip came up with the idea for a project. This author is amazing and I have nothing bad to say, I just did not expect it. This book came in great condition and everything was perfect!

Kinda cool.
It's boring, but don't let that disway you from getting the other three AGGGTM books.(SPOILERS)The mystery never turned into an actual murder mystery, and there were so many plot points that didn't come back later. It was anticlimactic, but cool if you want to give your child an introduction into mystery.P / Maybe it's just me, but the best part of a murder mystery party turned true murder mystery, is the dark themes spilling over what's supposed to be a happy atmosphere. This had dark themes, sure, but there's no reason for them. It was all just a big joke.

Great book highly recommend
I watched the first book made into a TV show. I was only watching while I was waiting for my dinner to be finished cooking in the oven. My daughter was watching and u got addicted. I wanted to know what happened. We binged watching the whole season. The TV show was awesome. This sequel book I got it as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She loves this author and the good girls guide to murder book series

Kill Joy by Holly Jackson
It could have been anyone of them...Pippa is on her way to her friend's birthday party and it's safe to say she is less than thrilled about it. She loves her friends, but she has no interest in participating in a 1920's themed murder mystery. She'd much rather be home figuring out what she should do for her Senior project next school year. Much to her surprise, she is engulfed in this game of intrigue and deception, vying to be the one who solves this case. Will Pippa crack the code before anyone else?I absolutely loved the "A Good Girl's Guide to Murder" series and recommend it to anyone who loves YA thrillers. I was ecstatic to find out this prequel existed during my post-series depression, thinking I'd never have more of the wonderful Pippa Fitz-Amobi. This was such a fun read. I loved learning more about Pip and her friends, while also getting more insight of where it all began. I'm glad I read it after completing the series, it doesn't contain spoilers for what's ahead, however I feel like I may have looked at some things differently if I had read this first. I can't recommend this series enough and look forward to see what Holly Jackson gifts us with in the future!

Kill Joy, before the fall
While it is fascinating to see all these characters before the events of the trilogy. I will agree that if you don't already love the trilogy & and characters, then this book would be dull, along with you, and might discourage you from picking up book 1.Reading it after was fun, but do to the no stakes of this novella it is totally skiable & you won't feel like your missing anything.

An ok prequel
I really wanted to love this novella. I picked up the trilogy and just fell in love with it. So when I saw a prequel was coming out I couldn't wait. So they are all getting together for a murder mystery dinner party. Which seriously is one of my favorite things I want to do. It was an interesting story but just didn't stick the landing.

came as shown!
The book arrived on time and looked in pretty good condition, I did notice some scuffing's of the pain but they were very minimal and the actual book itself was not harmed. If you want my opinion on the book itself it was pretty interesting but not as exciting as the rest of the books in the series. It gave a good amount of information about pip's life and friends if you want some background info on her but only read this if you haven't read any of the books in the trilogy ( which I made the mistake of doing ) 6/10 average
