I picked up this SanDisk 256 GB Extreme PRO microSD card to expand storage and it has been very reliable so far. Transfers are noticeably quick when moving files, and large videos and photos load without stuttering. The read and write speeds are more than enough for 4K recording on compatible devices and for running apps or games off the card without everything feeling slow. The included adapter is handy for plugging it into a laptop or card reader when I need to move a lot of data at once. So far I have not run into corrupt files or random disconnects, which I have had with cheaper cards in the past. It formatted easily and the full capacity showed up as expected. The price is higher than basic microSD cards, but for the performance and peace of mind, it feels worth it if you are using it for important photos, video, or a handheld gaming device.

To start; considering my budget and needs, this is my go to SD card. I have about 6 I regularly use in my drones and GoPros. Although it is V30 and not V60, the write speeds have not failed yet (I've had other major brands fail on me before). I've shot in up to 5.7K and had no issues. I have formatted, re-formatted, and used them many times, and I have yet to have a fail. I did find the 256 GB seems to outperform the 512 GB based on my occasional delays in writing to the disk with big volume videos such as hyper lapses (could be my camera processor). I think the key to this and any SD card is to handle them with care, remember they are no industrial and prone to the elements, and to format them using you camera gear.
