- Color + Clenditioner, Semi-Permanent Hair Color, 23 Shades

Okay, so I did days of reading on various coloring products and reviews and photos, etc., before deciding on this for my granddaughter's pretty dark brown hair. She had previously, about 8 weeks prior, had some of the ends bleached and colored red at the salon. It faded nearly instantly at the first shower and then with one swim it was essentially all gone and left a bit of a golden lighter brown color. It was costly, very costly. More color was purchased but it was a peroxide mix and after reading lots of reviews I realized for many people that faded, especially red, just as fast as other semi-permanent colors without the bleaching. As you can see her hair is pretty long. We used not quite half of the bottle I think, and smeared it throughout her hair from about the chin down, not putting any above that. Covered it with a light plastic cap, but used no heat of any kind. Let it sit 2 hrs then rinsed out with cool water. Probably only rinsed about 3 or 4 minutes. While it was wet you could see the red tint but after drying for the most part, you could really see the red, especially outside in the sunlight. She was very happy with this and I will update as time goes by, noting how long it lasts. I just ordered the cleanser/conditioner so we will use that once it arrives. For now we will not be using any shampoo and just rinsing the hair a few times a week in the shower and using the color+clenditioner as needed to maintain the color. Not sure how often that will be just yet. The color is phenomenal, though, and I'm surprised it took so well with her hair being dark. This smells really good and is so easy to use, not a drip anywhere. I didn't use gloves because I just can't do anything with gloves, and the color washed off my hands almost completely the first try. My cell camera doesn't really accurately portray the color red on anything so these are exactly accurate but mostly. It's very pretty. I would highly recommend this if you don't want to bleach your hair, and even if you do. The red tint this gives off even on the darker parts where it's not as pronounced is just beautiful, like a vivid deep auburn. We are really, really happy with this!

I work at a hair salon and that makes it surprisingly hard to find time to get my hair done. My mentor gave me highlights with a red glaze on top. Anyone who colors their hair red knows how fast it fades (VERY). Got this to revamp my red in between glazes. It went above and beyond expectations. Firstly, the red was sooo vibrant and brighter than a glaze. It also lasts only a little less time than a normal glaze for me. I used to box dye my hair for almost 10 years and this is easier to apply than that. I got SO many compliments in and out of work. I got about 4 applications out of it (as you can see my hair isn’t very long but it is thick). For $23 that is a steal. It’s less mess than box dye because it is thicker. I have been beyond impressed and am about to buy another bottle. My steps: 1. put on gloves and apply on dry hair from root to ends (I did dry hair each time for more vibrancy) 2. completely saturate hair and twist on top of head 3. left on for 1 hour (you don’t have to leave it on nearly this long, I just wanted the most color for my buck!) 4. get in the shower and rinse until water is as clear as possible (it won’t be completely clear, no red dye ever will be) 5. condition with my normal conditioner (pureology hydrate sheer) not because hair is not soft after, but because i wanted to scrub it off of scalp and hair as much as possible without stripping it with shampoo Hair is so soft, smells great, and has great color after. It will stain towels, but I didn’t have an issue with bad staining on my tub or anything (if you’re careful not to splatter it and rinse what you do splatter after). 10 stars from an apprentice at a hair salon. I bought this because I have been using permanent red every 4 to 5 wees and it is damaging my hair to color it so often. Anyone experienced with red hair color knows how quickly red fades. So, I thought Keracolor would be great for touch ups that would help me go longer between the harsher permanent dyes. The Good - 1. The color turned out GREAT. I love the deep red. I have had some unfortunate results when trying new brands, leaving my hair more orange than red but this is a true red. I used it on dry hair and let it sit for 20 minutes before rinsing and I couldn't be happier with the color. 2. I liked that it is in a pump, allowing me to use only what I need without having to throw out unused product. Waste not want not. 3. It smells AMAZING and the smell lasts a few days (if you don't wash your hair hair every day). 4. It made my hair so freaking soft and that has also lasted days. The Not Great - The pump was broken upon delivery. It simply will not release to pop up. So, things got a little messy. Keracolor might want to seriously think about offering a non pump pop up lid in addition to the pump. That way, if the pump is broken, we have a backup. In short, ship it to me with a non pump lid in place but send a pump with the product. Let me choose. FYI Advice - I used this product on colored hair that is naturally very dark brown with hints of white. The hair that was previously colored took the Keracolor very well. The dark and white roots did not. I knew this would be the case going in and I am perfectly fine with that. I was looking to extend the time between permanent dye jobs, knowing I would have "roots". I have read a few complaints about the color getting on skin and not washing off. It is dye. If it will color your hair, it will color your skin. Depending on the type of skin you have and the type of soap you use, that color may stick around for a few days. All hair color sticks to my hands, even the color that washes out with one shampoo. That is why I use gloves to apply and rinse.

This product is amazing! I used the red dye in my brown hair, and it was amazing! The conditioner smelled so good, and made my hair so silky smooth! It also washes off your skin easily. For my first time dying my hair, it was a great experience, for me and my friend. Highly recommend if you want an easy, fast, and temporary way to dye your hair. Love this product!!!

I lost my hair color at 24, my hair one day just stopped growing out my honey brown color I've had my whole life and just started growing in white with patches of siliver. Box dye no longer was sticking to my hiar. I was damaging my hair to try and cover the white hair with no luck. After I figured out having healthy hair was far more important to me. I no longer dye my hair. I was orginally interested in Overtone but Overtone was just not in my budget and i have long hair so I looked for a cheaper knock off, more bang for my buck. I kept coming back to this product. I made the choice of red,I love red hair. When this is on my head It smells so good. I actually had towel dried hair when I applied it because It came within 24 hours of ordering product and I simply was not expecting it so soon. I did wear gloves because red is a pain in the but to remove from my fair skin. I carefully spread the product all over my hair and wrap it up for 2 hours. Rinsed my hair for a good 20 mins and was shocked by how amazing my color was after one use. In fact I have only had to use this product once so far and my hair is still red 2 months later. I don't use it as an all the time solution because I am happy with how my hair is 2 months later. I still have 90% of the product left and will reapply in the next week or so to refresh my look. I have a 14 year old and a and 8 year old who also love to switch things up and now because we are stuck at home and are all in vitual learning I have allowed them to color their hair using this brand. My daughters have dark brown hair and they ordered the blue and purple, they did not lighten their hair to apply and had some great results. Product does not dry or damage hair, it lightly conditions and leaves hair in better health than ever before. 10 out of 10 I would highly suggest this product to anyone who is looking to color but not damage their hair.

This product has always made my hair feel amazing. For that reason I do like this stuff a lot. But it was far better when I had pink hair and used their pink conditioner. This red took a very vibrant red (that I worked hard for) and turned it almost a maroon color. I was pretty disappointed. For whatever reason a lot of the red temp dyes contain a LOT of orange and brown tones so you have to be really careful when your hair is lighter than brunette. This red seems to have something that makes the color seem off from bright red. I had to strip my hair and re-dye it with my favorite red color that has the appearance of blood it is so red. This is not that color. Great conditioner just not in this particular color.

I bought this really because I have red dyed hair and wanted something that would let the color stay a bit longer without feeling like I had to go back to the salon to touch up the color and this definitely helped bring color back to my hair when it started to fade a bit. And it's a conditioner so the hair still felt nice, which is great when your hair is already a bit damaged anyway from bleaching it to get good color in your hair

Love this! I use it to keep my red hair colour between hair appointments. I have natural dark brown hair and this even colours my roots slightly. I put it on dry hair and leave it in for 30min and the wash it out. Just use gloves as this really does make everything red!

I use this product when my red hair from the salon fades. The colour pay off is really really strong. Tbh it’s abit too strong for my liking but I use it to keep the red from fading too much. My hair is bleached so the colour shows up very bright. I would say the colour lasts about 2 weeks if you shower twice daily. However you need to know, after using this product, it will dry out your hair even with the conditioning agent in the dye. So take extra care of your hair after that. Also I used it on dirty hair and it didn’t make a difference, so no need to wash your hair before application if you have bleached hair I think. (I have black hair and bleached it once, so base colour is orangey, not yellow/white bleached hair)

This is an excellent shampoo, it leaves my hair soft and feeling healthy!...... it also keeps my dyed hair looking red. Only downside is it will stain your hands or shower curtain when using
