Crystal clear audio - just buy it
I waited way too long picking up a switching station, put off by reviews of diminished audio quality. While bad reviews will be present for any type of product, trading clarity for convenience was never on the table when dealing with my home theater. So I waited, plugging and unplugging an aux cord between my devices like a cretin. Well now that's a thing of a past thanks to this sweet little number. Working perfectly off the bat, I've since added over 30ft of extension between all 3 ports and we're still crystal. And I checked meticulously, the audio is exactly as if the device was connected directly. Do take care when possibly losing track of which cord is for what. As this box doubles as both a switcher and a splitter, it's possible you get your ducks out of row. Nothing damaged but my sanity, thankfully. So if you need an aux-based audio switching station, I highly recommend this one. Simple, versatile and reliable. And, above all else, your audio will sound like it always has.

Worked for my needs...
I have a 2014 BMW 335i (F30). It has an AUX port in the center console. My smartphone is an LG G8 Thinq. Happily, it has an earphone jack. I download music to my phone via Amazon Prime. And, my car has upgraded speakers (aftermarket by FOCAL) and an upgraded amp (Match Up 7BMW). So, this combo of upgraded speakers/tweeters/amp + wired output = audio heaven. Recently though, I also bought an Android 10 head unit. This new head unit has features that enable you to watch YouTube or stream videos. So, this head unit also needs to be plugged into that AUX port. In a perfect world, I would then need to use the Android 10 head unit's Bluetooth to play music. But, the quality definitely takes a step back (the unit does not offer APTX Bluetooth protocol and even that may not be enough to get the sound quality to where I have it on the OEM side). Anyway, my thought was to purchase this little box. In theory, I should be able to run my phone's 3.5" wire into Channel A and the Android 10 head unit's 3.5" wire into Channel B. Then, I would run another male-to-male 3.5" wire from my AUX in the center console to the in/out port of the box. My hope was that I could switch it to A to listen to my music via my phone via wired output / switch to B to listen to the Android 10s sound output when watching videos. Without this device, I would just be manually unplugging one wire and plugging the other in back and forth. And, this worked! I press “A” when I want to listen to what’s outputted by my phone. I can switch over to “B” when I want to hear what’s outputted by the Andoid head unit. It is distortion free. What a nifty gadget!

Highly Functional and Well Designed Switch Box
The 2 Port 3.5mm Stereo Manual Switch Box has become an essential part of my audio setup. I absolutely love the practical design, which includes rubber feet for stability and the option to mount it with screws. The fact that all the cables come out on one side is a thoughtful feature that keeps everything organized and prevents cable clutter. While the instructions were not in English and the unit feels somewhat lightweight, these are minor issues in comparison to its performance. The switch box delivers excellent sound quality and allows for easy switching between sources. Overall, it's a fantastic tool for anyone needing a compact and efficient audio switcher.

Solid Quality and Visually Pleasing
I purchased this audio input selector for an unusual reason: my A/V receiver automatically detects input, and was switching to my computer audio (which I route through the receiver) even when I didn't want it to. By running my computer audio through one input while leaving the other empty, I gave myself a simple manual mute button! (For those who might be wondering why I didn't just mute the computer, the audio from my computer actually goes to an external dock that then runs a line to the receiver. Unfortunately, the dock sends a tiny jolt through the audio cable whenever the computer wakes from hibernation—which it does semi-frequently to update notifications and such. This tiny surge is enough to trip the receiver's threshold for line-signal, and it switches to the computer input.) The stereo selector is extremely light (the body is made out of plastic), but feels solid in the hand despite this. The buttons are chunky and move solidly, with a pleasingly nostalgic "chunk" noise like that of an old tape player. The inputs are simply labeled, with a little "1" or "2" beneath each option and again below the corresponding buttons. The connectors are high quality, but beware that the unit is ungrounded, meaning that you may a very low hum if you select an empty input empty (like I do). This is no different from most other consumer-quality input selectors, and doesn't seem to impact a correctly hooked up input. In fact, I found the pass-through audio quality was very clean. The stereo selector doesn't seem to add any noise or distortion to the line at all. The box is not small. Roughly the size of a thick deck of full-size playing cards, the unit doesn't take up a ton of desk real estate, but isn't as convenient for travel as some of the more compact options out there. Additionally, there is no passive volume control or mute button, which some of this product's competitors have begun to offer. Overall, if simplicity and consistent quality are what you're looking for, then this stereo speaker selector should be your go-to choice!

Great device, well built.
Bought this to use a single set of Logitech 2.1 speakers on a new M2 Mac Mini and the windows tower that sits in the same area. There is no hum for me, and with it being a simple push button device, and not one with mute, volume, and all the other unneeded nonsense makes the most sense. The purpose of this is to use a single set of speakers on two devices, right? We don't need mute and volume controls which just adds unnecessary points of failure. They're built as cheap as possible anyway, so let's keep it simple. It serves the purpose perfectly. I'm using Logitech Z2300's for my setup. Getting a 2nd one to put up front where some other systems are.

Works as expected
No loss of audio quality. I sit at a desk where I use a sound bar as my main computer speaker. It's only output is a 3.5mm cable. I recently hooked up my old Xbox 360 to my computer monitor at the same desk where I sit. I have separate audio coming from that monitor. This device allowed me to hook up my computer monitor audio and my computer audio to one sound bar. All i have to do is hit the corresponding number on this switch. For me #1 is main computer and #2 is Xbox 360. I couldn't be easier and it works flawlessly. I didn't even know these switches existed. I ended up buying a whole separate sound bar for my Xbox 360. While I like the other sound bar, I did not like all the clutter on my desk. This made it so much easier and cleaner. I highly recommend this easy to use product.

Perfect Solution for Sharing Speakers Between Two Computers
"Update 2/2/2026 - Reduced to 2 stars: After continued use, I've encountered the humming/hissing noise that other reviewers have mentioned. I've noticed this only occurs when my computer enters sleep mode. Unfortunately, this issue makes the product unusable for my setup, so I've had to discontinue use." I bought this 2-port 3.5mm stereo manual switch box to share one set of speakers between my Mac and PC, and it works exactly as advertised. Setup was incredibly simple—just plug in both computers and your speakers, no power adapter or software needed. The hot-swappable design means you can switch between devices without rebooting, which is a huge convenience. The build quality is solid for the price, and I appreciate the thoughtful design touches. It comes with mounting holes if you want to hang it under your desk or on the wall, plus rubber feet if you prefer to just set it on your desktop like I did. The two manual switch buttons are straightforward and easy to use. One minor quirk I noticed: there's a bit of static when you first turn on either computer, but it disappears completely once Windows or macOS fully loads. When the computers are off or sleeping, there's no static at all—completely silent. It hasn't been an issue during regular use. Whether you need to connect one audio source to two sets of speakers or two audio sources to one set (like my setup), this little switch box handles it perfectly. Great value for anyone looking to share audio equipment without constantly unplugging cables. Highly recommended! EDIT: I am now getting the humming/hissing noise that so many others have talked about. this seems to only happen when my computer is asleep. I am downgrading from 5 stars to 3 stars.

Slechte kwaliteit
