Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour - Au Naturel Eye Shadow 0.05 Oz

I am new to crayon eye shadow. For all my “makeup life” I’ve used powder shadow which was always a tedious process for me! I’m older now (almost 70!), and I want things that go on smoothly, don’t cake into my wrinkles, but still have coverage for the older eye lid. I also want simplicity in my makeup routine, along with a natural look that complements anything I’m wearing. First of all, the color can go on the lid, then intensified in the crease to look like 2 shadows. Second, the product goes on smoothly and can be blended and shaped as you like. Third, it stays where I put it until I take it off. Note: I like to use an eyelid primer regardless of the type of eye makeup. It provides coverage for my older eye lid skin and provides the perfect base for whatever comes next.

I actually got a sample from Sephora and loved it. I tried to purchase it at Sephora, but they were all sold out. Decided to look for it on Amazon and found it for even cheaper. This glides on nice and smooth. I don’t wear too much make up so the color is perfect for a natural subtle look. It last all day and doesn’t stick or clump in the lines/folds. Love it and would recommend it!

I love this product - perfect color for a natural, no makeup look. I use a transparent setting powder on my lids before applying the eye shadow to help reduce creasing throughout the day. I also think the color slightly oxidizes throughout the day - it goes on pretty much the same color as my skin in the morning and by the end of the day it’s slightly richer - but looks great on my skin tone so can’t complain. I have it 4 stars because the caviar stick broke from the base of the applicator after 3 uses and flew across my bathroom when I opened the lid!

Once it arrived, I opened it and the eye stick literally just fell out of its holder and cracked into pieces on the counter because it was so dry. There was only half a stick inside because it had been previously used. The tip of the stick was worn down from use by someone else. I'm pretty annoyed, since it isn't returnable. Huge waste of money.

I’ve tried other brands in eyeshadow sticks and they don’t even come close to these eyeshadow sticks. These are the perfect creamy consistency and not too dry. The Au Natural color is my favorite- it’s neutral, goes with everything and isn’t too dark or too light. I use it everyday. It’s quick to put on and blends well. Don’t skip on these- you won’t be sorry!

I bought the matte beige color. Very light on my brown skin, but serves its purpose for a five minute face. I just have to put a transition color in the crease to make it work.

I’m old and just wanted to feel a little better about myself. Stumbled on this product line. I am sooo happy Infound this one. Makes my eye lid color more even toned and I FEEL better about myself. I recommend this line of eye shadows. If you are young or older like me. At but pricey possibly for younger peeps but know it is a full size stick and will last. It stays on nicely once on. Blendable to start. I’m lousy at make up. Even I can do this it’s no brained easy out the door

While I really like this product and the color Au Naturel, when I took the cap off, the stick was loose & flew out of the cylinder. I have had continual issues with the stick falling out; it’s not securely attached. Very frustrating. I’ve never had issues like this with any stick product that I’ve used. As expensive as these Caviar sticks are, I would expect a higher quality product.
