Aquastrong 115V Shallow Well Garden Pump, Stainless Steel, 1320 GPH, Water Transfer Draining Irrigation Sprinkler Pump, for Lawn,Garden,1.6 HP Portable

I ran this pump for four days straight to irrigate my yard. Priming the pump was more involved than the instructions allowed for. Even with pre-filling my inlet hose, I ended up having to take the inlet hose off and fill the pump with it standing up on end (unplugged) otherwise I couldn't get the air lock out. Once it was primed, it could handle a little bit of air no problem. The Initial priming required more than just filling the outlet side of the pump as instructed. After that it works great. I let it run almost 96 hours straight in 95 degree heat to water my lawn. 1-2 sprinkler heads. With only about 3-5 feet of head. 200-300 feet of water hose. I am pleased, great price point. It does come with plastic fittings to connect regular water hose.

Very happy with the water flow. It has been working hard during this dry spell. Very easy to set up and prime. It works better than our old pump at half the money. Very pleased so far!

This is a follow up to a earlier review . I bought 2 of the 1.6 hp pumps one of them runs fine but the other one was in service in a city water supply to add pressure to the system. So it was being feed water from the city supply and boosting up a little for the sprinkler system. Worked good at hookup . I turned it off for a month as I gown for a while . When I came back and turned it on it just humming and humming and would not start up. So I took it out of service and emailed Armstrong they got back to me and asked for a video of it trying to run. I did that and sent it to them they said thank you and had already sent out a replacement. That is rare service now days so 5 stars to them for standing behind their product. I have no Idea why it failed but any body can have a bad one in manufacturing. Its how you respond after the sale that makes a deference to me. So 5 Stars to Aquastrong Al Wassmer

Pump worked well first season, used for sprinkler system in new yard. Provides good pressure and seems very robust. Unfortunately, after bringing the pump out to use again this summer, the motor had seized and the pump stopped working. Still giving 5 stars because Aquastrong responded quickly to my warranty request and setup a replacement pump shipment right away. Good customer service, I think mine was a fluke.

First two times pumping clear water from a decorative pond. Worked great. Then started hesitating and slowed down to almost nothing. Contacted customer service who asked for video and details to and after sending ghosted me. Purchased to pump off overflow water from my pond liner pond. Lack of customer service and poor life is why I gave it a 1 star

The pump works well by taking water from my pond and operating 2 hoses to water my lawn. I have a big lawn in the front and back of my house. I have a creek running from the pond through my front yard. I can also irritate my pasture with it.

My pump worked great for the first time but something went wrong the second time I used it. They had a brand new pump on my doorstep in 9 days. The second one works perfectly. Great customer service and very easy to communicate with during the process.

I used this pump as my MAIN water pump source to irrigate my yard. I have an eight 6 zone system that works fine. When nothing goes bad. This is why I am giving this a 3 or it would be a 5. You should know this item is NOT water proof. This item cannot be submerged or even water sprayed on it. The electronic housing behind the switch is totally NOT water proof. Right now I am drying mine out since it was in a case but one of the hoses on the outlet burst and got the entire inside wet and shut my whole system down because it tripped the GFI switch. I took off the housing and water gushed right out. WOW! I am sure this is not going to come back on since it has been several days like this. We are having a heat wave and had some very strong storms come thru and I originally thought it was my delay until today. I will follow up and let you know if drying this POS out works or not. E

"I purchased this pump after my old Berkeley pump, which I had for 30 years, finally needed replacing. I use it to water my garden and came across this one at a much lower price than my previous pump. I decided to give it a try, and I do not regret it at all! It pumps efficiently from about 130 feet away with great pressure. I highly recommend it!"

This is a good pump lots of pressure

Use this pump to run sprinklers out of a pond rubbing up a 12’ hill with 120’ of 3/4” pvc pipe and 2 impulse sprinkler heads. No issues. Be sure to buy a check valve/ foot valve as priming is a pain as with any pump. See how long it holds up but with simple plastic internals don’t foresee an issue. Would purchase again

I've had this pump for a year. Aprox. 50 hours of operation. It now shuts off after 30 seconds of use. I wait for about 30 seconds and then it turns back on. It continues to do this and when I put my hand near the switch it is very hot. I see many other people who sell things on Amazon are very quick to address issues that are posted on reviews. I hope that I have a new pump sent to me or my money refunded and I can change this review to a five-star.

Bought this pump on May 7, 2024 and it just seized up sent an email to company after registering the product on april 17th. on April 19th had reply to send video and 2 days later they are replacing the pump what a great company to deal with 10/10 !
