I've been using these in the gym and they're really nice. Coming off a pair of cheaper barefoot shoes these are pretty comfortable and definitely an upgrade. The only thing I wish I could change is that the draw string is really long but I just tuck it into the other laces and it's not very noticeable. These are really great for deadlifts. Amazing grip and they don't move at all even under really heavy loads. Solid for squatting as well as long as you have decent ankle mobility. I've walked ~5 miles in them and didn't really have any issues with blistering although you should be accustomed to barefoot shoes already if you do that.

Im very much a "one shoe to rule them all" type and these have held up very well. I run in them, use them as water shoes, mow in them, work in them, everything. Not to say they're great for all these things, but they don't even really show any signs of wear besides being a bit more flexible. They have tough soles to protect against sharp rocks without being too stiff and they secure nicely at the ankle to stop slipping and blisters. Only personal issue I had was the shoes not having in-between sizes, as one of my toes on the right foot is a bit longer than the others, thus causing minor blisters on that one toe. I removed the insoles and it created enough space to not be an issue.

Very slim and flat, kinda looks like a foot without the burden of toes. I really like it for running/gym use. Also really good easy shoes for lazy errands if you keep them dry, though for activities they don’t really suffer when they get wet, i just don’t like wet socks. The grip on them is quite good both on gravel and gym surfaces.

Wanting to transistion to the Zero-Lift/Drop style of footware, this particular shoe was mentioned several times in different reviews on the topic. I paid the extra price (North of $110) to give myself the best first experience. YEAHS: ***FIT > Fits well. It did take 2 tries to get one that felt good. Fortunately, the one that did not work fit my wife great, so she is also trying the style of shoe. ***FEEL > This shoe gives you a very good feel for the ground beneath you. I seem to be transisitioning rather quickly compared to what I expected and I really apperciate its feel around, and under, my foot. Company made it easier for me to determine my size based on my wider foot profile. ***APPEARANCE > Not too bad for everyday and casual use. I personally would not use it for a more formal occassion. See this category also below under NEAs. NEAS: ***GETTING IT ON > The tounge is not supported well in terms of staying where it should be while putting the shoe on. It keeps sliding down toward the toes, requiring me to pull it back up - and sometimes undo a "doubling over." Likewise, the back of the shoe is very succeptable to getting pushed down/doubled over as I step in (IF I am not using a shoe horn). While not a deal-breaker, I wish it went on as easy as my Witten brands (that I am also trying out). ***DURABILITY > To yet be determined. More info as time goes on. ***FLEXIBILITY > This is a very "slipper-like" feel and design. While it feels quite "flimsey" that is part of what makes this more of a minimalist type of Zero-Lift/Drop shoe. ***APPEARANCE > While it does not scream out loud "Hey! I'm Different!" to the casual looker, a second look does show that it is not your typical looking shoe. That said, no one has called me out on its look after a month of use.

I am 6’0” and weigh 185. I wear a size 10 in ASICS, a 10 1/2 in brooks, and 10 1/2 in Solomon’s, I have a high arch so insoles are usually the way to go. I was skeptical about getting the right size but the size 10 in Vivobarefoot shoes were perfect. Lg toe box, 100% happy with the fit. I do recommend these for barefoot shoes for gym and casual use but not for running yet due to no arch support. Build up to that, take it slow.

Ordered two pairs, same website both in “wide” style. One pair 12.5 WIDE, One pair 13 wide. The 13 wide felt like flippers length wise, the tip toe is the measurement. My feet web out (like most athletes with wide feet)The 12.5 WIDE is snug, but not wide. Or at least wide in the wrong place. I spent 177$ on each pair. Sent the 13 wide back over two weeks ago. Before Nov. 1. The refund says it won’t get back to my original payment method until at LEAST Dec 9.

I bought these for the extra treads compared to Primus Lite III and Stealth shoes that Vivo makes. I was hoping the tread lasted longer on these. They did not. I wanted to give 1 star for ruining all my expensive merino wool socks at the achilles tendon before I realized what was happening. But I'll give two stars because they're flexible and comfortable and discourages heel strikes which is what I love about Vivobarefoot shoes. I replaced these with my 3rd pair of Primus Lite IIIs just before I got new socks so they wouldn't eat through more socks. Also, the laces had to be a company design joke. I always replace the laces on my Vivobarefoot shoes with elastic hickies to turn them into slip-ons. That's not possible with these because of the gimmick-y pull cord lacing system on these. The holes they go through are really "sharp leather" (I didn't know leather could be sharp), so the laces got chewed up really fast, and I had to tie knots in the laces where they had literally been cut through, because the laces are so thin, no normal shoelace will thread through the tiny holes. Even if they did thread through, good luck tightening them due to the astronomical friction 6 pulley layers deep. Love Vivobarefoot shoes and have worn them exclusively for 8 years (church, weddings, work, everything shy of steel-toed required work environments). Just don't get these unless you don't mind finding other things to use for laces and wearing something to protect your socks as the achilles tendon. I expect more from Vivo, which is why I bought other Vivo shoes after these.

Have been working on my messed up feet for awhile to wear something like this it is the most normal looking barefoot shoe i can wear with shorts during summer and for walks but you feel the road so we aware its a lifestyle in foot health so hit that bump or rock you might feel it a bit nothing dangerous but just be aware comfy also

"Perfekte Allrounder" Ich bin gerne Barfuß unterwegs und habe Erfahrungen mit Wildlingen, Fivefingers und Shamma-Sandalen. Ich habe immer einen Schuh gesucht, der ein bisschen robuster ist und auch mal durch den nassen Wald mitgeht, ein alltagstauglichen, fitnesstauglichen, parcourtauglichen "Fußballschuh", aber weder zu traillastig und doch atmungsfähig. Natürlich Barfußschuh. Die Schuhe sind toll. Kein Minimalist und nicht das absolute Barfußgefühl der Fivefingers, dafür ist er auch nicht gemacht. Aber definitiv guter Zehenraum perfekter Schnitt und ein sehr hochwertiger und robuster Barfußschuh. "Zwischengröße und Andere Schuhe bestellen" Ich habe eine Zwischengröße 45/46 und das ewigliche Leid beide Größen je nach Schuh und Anbieter probieren zu müssen. Größe 46 bestellt. Ausgepackt, anprobiert, ich rutschte im Schuh richtig hin und her, nach wenigen Steps war klar zu groß für mich. Am gleichen Tag Verkäufer kontaktiert, wieder zur Retoure eingepackt, zum Paketshop und neue bestellt.. zwei Tage später standen die neuen Schuhe auf der Matte. Das ist fix. Passt perfekt und bin glücklich. Das ist wirklich unkompliziert. So darf das sein.

Habe den Schuh im Angebot erworben. Sollte meine eher günstigen Baarfußschuhe einer No-Name Marke ergänzen. Finde die Verarbeitung auch ok. Leider aber in anbetracht des hohen Preises eher billig wirkend. Wenn der Schuh ca. 60 Eur. gekostet hätte, dann würde ich ihn behalten. Den Markenaufschlag möchte ich nicht tragen, daher schicke ich den Schuh zurück.
