Easy install, works great
Perfect replacement for builder quality transformer. This one is a little higher power to carry a camera device at the front door. Works great, still working great.

Replaced Existing Doorbell Without Any Issues
This was an easy install because I was replacing an existing doorbell. Anyone can do it! Look at the existing installation, take pictures if you like, remove the existing doorbell and wire up the doorbell in the same manner.

Was fairly easy to install and works as expected. Simple appearance. Material is plastic and appeared to be fine upon install. All items were included in box.

Perfect combo to wire 2 Nest Doorbells and a chime
I ordered the Newhouse CHM1 Two Note Electric Door Bell Chime Bundled with 30TR 16V/30VA Transformer and this worked perfectly to wire my 2 Nest (battery) Doorbells. The wiring took a bit of work fishing wires through walls but both front and back doorbells work perfect with the transformer and chime and I don't need to take them off to recharge them anymore.

The doorbell chime can burn out with the more powerful transformer
I needed a new doorbell chime, so I purchased this chime in the package with the 16V/30VA Transformer. It cost a couple of bucks less, and they were from the same manufacturer, so what could go wrong? After I installed the transformer and doorbell chime, the doorbell worked for about a week without a problem. All of the sudden I can't hear when people show up at my door (neighbors, Amazon, salesmen <--this one I don't mind) until they start knocking on the door. I realized that the plastic in the chime striker has melted away. After consulting neighborhood electrician, they tell me that the transformer in my package deal would be fine if I used multiple chimes, but it is overpowered for a single chime. Likely the striker melted because of this. Looking more closely at the specs on the chime, it clear states that it is rated for a 16V/10VA or 16V/15VA transformer (my old transformer was the former of the two). In other words, the 16V/30VA transformer provides three times more power to the chime than what is required! Unfortunately, I was unable to return these because I didn't get around to install them until after the return period was up. I purchased another chime and a 16V/10VA transformer (separately), and my doorbell has already outlasted the package deal. I won't say this package deal doesn't work, but there could be issues.

Perfect Replacement Doorbell
Our doorbell went bad and I wanted to get something that would not just replace it, but also that would provide more juice for running a video doorbell. This checked all boxes and I'm very happy with the results. The only thing I think they missed is that they didn't include drywall anchors along with everything else. They did include screws and it would have been pretty much no cost to them to throw in some drywall anchors as well.

Easy to install, sounds pleasant
This was a direct replacement for a door bell that went bad. It was very easy to install and the sound is pleasant (for a doorbell). Itโs a simple solenoid type bell that strikes xylophone type steels. Works well
