Superb Tennis Training Device
There are so many great things to say about the Ksports Tennis Rebounder Net that it's hard to list all of its attributes. First of all it fills a genuine need for affordable, repeatable, and realistic training for tennis players of all levels. For beginners, it introduces the concepts of ball tracking, eye-hand coordination, proper racket grip, racket face contact, racket sweet spot feel, shot rhythm/timing, shot aim, and confidence. For intermediate players, it is fantastic for proper stroke form, forehand to backhand transition, topspin, follow through, accelerating the racket through the ball, and gradual ramping up of power. For advanced players, it's great for practicing full power shots while maintaining accuracy, feel for finesse drop shots and slices, consistency and focus, warm up before matches, experimenting with subtle changes in grip or technique, and aerobic fitness (you can work up a good sweat by alternating forehand and back hand with power). For coaches, schools, and tennis training facilities, the player can be observed or videoed close by from all angles as the ball self-feeds freeing the coach to examine the player rather than feed balls from afar, less time picking up or tripping over dozens of scattered balls (you really only need one at a time), immediate feedback on what feels and sounds like good strokes, and the muscle memory gained from hundreds of good ball strikes per training session. The product is designed very well with the net absorbing the energy of full-power tennis shots, adjustable net tension for different racket sports, easy no-tool snap-together assembly, sturdy yet light weight frame, reinforcement by the tension of the net itself, adjustable pivoting rebound plank for tuning of return height and speed, and portability if disassembled. This rebounder is superior to the alternatives. There are some other more expensive training devices out there that are not nearly as dynamic and realistic, can damage your racket strings with miss hits, and will quickly wear out over time. If you try practicing against a solid vertical brick wall, the return ball becomes more and more difficult to handle once you add power and topspin, thus limiting improvement. However, with this rebounder device the ball returns in a controlled manner like a very patient and expensive tennis coach is feeding you balls. As the ball rolls down the net it gains topspin, thus simulating the most common spin you will have to deal with on the court. My favorite drill is alternating 2 forehand shots, 2 backhand shots, 2 forehand shots, etc, etc with the first shot at moderate pace with a focus on accuracy, and the second shot a full power game winner shot with full follow through (i.e. ripping it!). The first evening I had this rebounder, I was already returning 50 shots in a row with improved consistency, improved form, better topspin, and more smooth power. I feel like I am getting a lot out of each practice session with up to hundreds of good strikes to train eye-hand coordination and ingrain muscle memory, perhaps an even better training experience than playing against a poorly matched opponent on the court. I mainly use it first bounce off the plank to fit one end of my basement gym where it doesn't require much room. If you use it outdoors, it is rather light so in breezy conditions you might have to sandbag the base and/or zip tie the top to a fence. It is possible that it could be used as an outdoor target for practicing your serve. Although you can certainly use official regulation tennis balls, I prefer softer (orange and yellow marked) junior training balls because they compress more and thus make a loud popping sound with a sweet-spot full-power strike (good auditory feedback), it's easier to observe induced topspin backspin and side spin, they don't wear out as fast since they are already "dead", and for long training sessions with hundreds of powerful strikes the softer tennis balls are less likely to result in overuse injury, such as the dreaded tennis elbow. If you have the rebounder set up on a slick tile surface, one inch strips of Velcro applied to the floor behind each front foot will prevent it from walking back with powerful shots and also mark its optimal position should you need to move it for any reason. The center of the net should either be flat or concave (adjusting the included elastic cords). If the center is too taut and there is a speed bump hump, power shots could deflect over the back stop, so a little center slack is best. The angle of the net is not pivot adjustable (which helps keep it sturdy). I experimented with propping up the back feet of the base on 1-1/2" wooden blocks to increase return speed and it remained stable, but I decided that the stock net angle was already very well-optimized. Mine came with 6" vertical extensions to raise the height which I have so far not needed to install, but would add second bounce height from the floor. Customer service has been very responsive. The value is incredible for the amount of tennis skill, ball speed, accuracy, topspin, confidence, and consistency I have gained in a short period of time.

Tennis anyone?
The rebounder has snap on parts so it was pretty straight forward to put together without tools. It is larger than I expected so when not in use, I take the legs off and lean it against a wall. I can also break it all down and store in the provided carry bag. I was thinking about leaving it outside but would need to tie it down and cover it to protect from wind and rain. The net does a great job of consistently returning the ball to help improve my swing and additionally, get a nice cardio workout. I can also practice a little footwork by hitting corner to corner. The bounce height is a tad lower than my ideal strike zone, but can be adjusted by using the provided extensions and/or prop up the four legs. For me, I think a regular size would have been sufficient but the extra width is definitely more forgiving especially for beginners and children.

This thing is great!
I recently purchased the Ksports tennis rebounder. I got it to improve my pickleball skills while Iโm recovering from an Achilles Tendon rupture and surgery. Since my ability to move around normally is a bit restricted for the next several months I figured this might be a good option to stay in shape and improve my game. So, two days ago I assembled the rebounder. To be truthful the instructions with the unit could be a bit more detailed with better pictures, but being fairly handy I got it done. Then I watched the video on the website, should have done that first. It is very well done and is very easy to understand. (If you buy this rebounder, watch the video on before attempting the assembly, you wonโt be sorry. Now on to the actual use. I have it in my garage where there is enough room to use it effectively, but it does take up a good bit of space. The first day I just played with it enough to get use to the features. By keeping the center bungie cords fairly loose the ball is directed to the center of the rebounder on the return, most of the time, and avoids it bouncing off (Which does happen with errant shots and being in my garage the ball gets lodged in the most inconvenient places. LOL The second day of use consisted of learning to adjust the bottom plate to vary the return bounce. I am impressed with the different return options Iโve been able to get. From a straight no bounce ball to a ball that bounces. I have been able to hit the ball as hard as I can and it always (with the exception of the shots that miss the unit entirely) returns the ball well. I am now using it for about 1 ยฝ to 2 hours a day and enjoy every minute (except when I miss and the ball sticks under something) of the use. I have been able to improve both my forehand and backhand returns and get some well-needed exercise. So, The Ksports rebounder is, in my opinion, an excellent product that performs exactly as advertised. I am extremely glad I got it and expect to get a lot of use from it in the coming months. I highly recommend this product to anyone considering buying it. 5+ stars

Hard to assemble(first time) and not really for outdoors.
Once you get it together and use it, it is fun and light exercise. The top and bottom length bars are not well defined in pictures or description so I started off with the wrong bar at the bottom. I had to get help to finally attach the "real" top bar as it appeared to be too short. Once you see it done, might be possible to do it as a solo project, but not super easy. The other big problem if you set up outside is even light winds will blow it over. You must remove the "net" at the very minimum or it will be turned over. Based on my examination, not sure this is something you could realistically leave out unless you live in a low rain environment. So expect to have to pack it up and re-deploy every time you want to use it. Saw someone put it up in 15 minutes. Took me closer to thirty...but it was my first attempt. All that said, I really enjoyed using it. Not a Tennis or Pickleball player, just liked the idea. It is seriously less expensive then building a racquetball court or half sized tennis court with a backboard. I would recommend it but be aware you do have to put it up and take it down (figure an hour). Also, at least outside, winds may prevent you from practicing with it. I may have a room I could set up inside. it is huge so expect that room is just for it unless you add some shifting of stuff and the set up/take down time. Overall, I think most beginners are going to be put off by the stuff above. Just buy some training time. Once you reach some expertise, it is probably a valid way to practice. Alternatively, if you just like the idea and want to putz around with it, I found it really fun. Time will tell if I am willing to do the work to erect and store it to have that fun.

Great Tennis Training Tool
I've been coaching for over 15 years. I've used various ball machines and other net rebounders. This, to me, is the best tool of them all, especially if you want a lot of reps. You get more reps and you get them faster and more consistent. I've seen this help my beginner students improve their strokes in a matter of minutes. It doesn't require a as much space as a ball machine would and now even less space with their smaller version. When it rains, it can be set up in a garage. You don't get those dead times like when a ball machine gets jammed and they all get jammed. You can use regular balls or low compression balls with this. It encourages students to have their strings facing their target at contact, to swing in a circular pattern like a Ferris wheel and not like a merry go round, and it keeps them from being too wristy. All of which are key to great tennis strokes and they happen naturally with this rebounder. It's also less expensive than a ball machine and less things to break and replace than a ball machine. Search online for drills. There are so many. We have a couple at our school. I have one of my own and I highly recommend this product for all levels and for parents who want their son or daughter to excel.
