I recently purchased the Shark 3-in-1 Max Air Purifier, Heater & Fan, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home! I wasn't looking for an air purifier but while in search for filters for my current one, I found this. I was immediately drawn in because it was floor model size, shows the air quality, and is a fan and heater too. It was a little bigger than expected as far as width, but not height. I like that it shows the air quality and it usually declines when cooking. Putting it on auto is great because as the air quality improves it lowers the speed level and vice versa. The sound is pretty quiet on the first 2 levels, and are the loudest on levels 5 and 6 but I would say no louder than any other purifier or fan I know. I also find it cool that you can set it to oscillate. It is a bit on the pricey side and for that I wish the fan/heat vent was a little bigger. I like that there's a remote control but I would have also liked the option of having control settings on the actual item instead of needing the remote to conrol it. The only thing you can do without the remote is power on and off. Also, for the price it would have been good to be able to switch between purifier and fan/heat mode not just manually, but with the remote too. Lastly, I don't care for the loud chiming noise it makes when using the control settings. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. I recommend it if you want a good quality air purifier and if you're only looking to cool or heat a small area. I don't think it's a good replacement to cool larger areas.

I have several MedifyAir air purifiers that I like but I wanted one that had a heat option because my other purifiers kick out cool air and as a result I rarely use them during winter months. With this unit you can just clean the air, or activate the heater as it cleans, or activate the fan as it cleans. Having clean air that can heat or cool your room is next level. In addition, both the fan and heater work VERY well. With some air purifiers you really don't know how well they're working but with this unit you know because the numeric readout tell you the cleanliness of your air. It's so sensitive it even detects when I open the house or garage door. And it REALLY works it's magic when you fry food. It's so quiet I wasn't even sure it was cleaning in Auto Mode but it was and as the air got worse it increased the air intake speed until the air was good, then it lowered the air intake speed. All the available settings, such as the ability to adjust temperature, available oscillation, LED light function, etc... are an added bonus. If you're thinking about this unit you will not be disappointed. One word of caution, it is big. It may not be the best choice if you have limited available space. I love Shark products and in my opinion they did VERY well with this product. We LOVE it!

We have multiple pets & often have the windows open (read pet hair, allergens, & dust). We love this purifier/fan/heater. We own 2! The only reason we gave it a 4 is the cost of replacement filters and as much as I love the oscillating feature, the moment ours got knocked over (the base broke) the unit would no longer work. We lost both within 2 weeks. So durability wasn't awesome but noise & air cleanliness were top-tier. Oh and heater really warms up a bedroom!

When used as an air filter alone, it is moderately alright for performance. It runs like garbage as an air filter when using heater mode; blowing at number 6 max is about 90% slower than it blows in regular air filter mode. It is about the speed of 1 to 2 HE401 or HE601 fans. The HE401 has 4 fans and the HE601 has 6 fans. I have 2 of those. If they had a built-in heater and the fan did not slow down like a busted twin turbo system when you switch on heat like the Shark HC502 3-in-1, I wouldn't bother with this one. The HE601 covers a room better than 2 of these for filter fan power. I'll tell you how an item works instead of giving you a bone-headed non-technical, consumer-based, emotional response about how good or bad the product made me feel, like I usually find when I am looking for advice. I will just say, before you buy, just know that the heater does work, but turning on the heater slows down the device's fan so much that it almost turns the fan off, even at max, blowing less wind than a cheap $20 space heater. You can barely hear it. When you turn off the heater, the fan kicks back to normal speed. It doesn't matter how high or low the temperature setting is; it is the mode itself. Again, it works moderately as a heater and a lot better as an air purifier, but not both at the same time. How is it expected to purify the air as a heater, when it barely pulls any air to begin with. I've just bought 2 of these at the same time and I am disappointed in this product on account of the way it is marketed versus its performance. It is not worth the near $400. Half price off would still be pushing it. The HE601 is not even worth that much, but it is closer to it than the Shark HC502 3-in-1 is.

We have been using this air purifier for several years and love it . It’s quiet and purifies the air even after cooking. The heat feature is very handy.

Updated Review: 5 Stars Initially, I rated the Shark 3-in-1 Max Air Purifier, Heater & Fan 3 stars because the air quality sensors weren’t working properly—they always indicated 100% clean. However, I work in an old building where employees wear dirty boots and stir up dust, so I knew the air wasn’t always perfect. Recently, the sensors started working correctly. In the mornings, they indicate air quality in the 90s and gradually improve to 100. When a coworker burned their food, the air quality dropped to the 70s and took about two hours to return to 100. I love this device! It makes my office more comfortable by constantly circulating the air, whether it’s hot or cool. The heater is very quiet and keeps my office cozy. I also love the timer feature as I can set it for 9 hours when I arrive and don’t have to worry about shutting it off. When I hear it shut down, I know it’s close to my time to start shutting down as well. Wish I would have ordered another one for home. The price has significantly increased.

I use it in a small bedroom. There are not a lot of combination heater + air purifier + fan units available other than Dyson, which is prohibitively expensive. I bought this one on black friday. So far, performance has just been okay. The oscillating function is quite loud and enough to be annoying at night time. It's also quite loud in general, even on the standard air purifying mode. The heater works well and heats the room evenly. The unit is very large - see photos for scale. The remote is also the primary controller for the unit, and uses the small little button batteries. The problem with the remote is that it uses an infrared sensor, so you have to point it exactly at the receiver in order for a signal to go through. Overall, I would not buy this unit again. It's a good idea, but execution is a bit sloppy. Loud, creaky, and unwieldy to use.

Heats great purifies air the only issue would be the oscillation i thought it was broken when it slightly pauses as it turns after running though a bunch of video its normal

Es un buen purificador si llegar a ser excelente, pienso que por el precio debería de tener algunas ventajas como manejarse con Alexa o que el control fuera con Bluetooth , si quieres un diseño discreto este no lo es , además de tener un rango de oscilación bastante corto , cumple con la función y es de calidad pero si se quiere algo más completo , yo ahorraba más y me hiba por el Dyson.

La verdad como calentador , no es ta eficiente , lo puse en una recámara de 4*4 Mts y jamás pasa más de 20 grados Celsius y eh tenido calentadores de mil pesos que calientan mil veces mejor el cuarto !
