Great Product
If you deal with a lot of video display and production, you are probably already familiar with Decimators. If you're not, you owe it to yourself to check these out. Coaxial cable (SDI) is a far better transmission medium for high definition video than Universal Twisted Pair.

Great product
I have a customer that needed to change television from an S Video connection and change it to HDMI for a better solution for colonoscopies. The equipment they currently have only has an SDI output for digital resolution. I connected this bad boy and it worked instantly. Very happy with the product.

Works great to adapt 1080p signals to SDI for frame synchs.
I keep several of these on my TV truck to adapt devices like iPads, Apple TV, PCs and laptops to a 1080p signal that Cobalt UDX and AJA FS1/2/4s can lock.

STABLE AND VERSATILE
I love this versatile unit. It's bidirectional, SDI to HDMI. HDMI to SDI. And conserve as a re-amp for long HDMI runs. small. USB powered with AC USB adaptor included. stable. however its pass through. you cant change resolution from input to output like other decimator units. but tgat aside, i love the product.

Handy device for live video production.
This little gadget is awesome. The availability of using it vice versa is a extra and the price is good. I will always recommend anyone looking for a SDI to HDMI or HDMI to SDI adapter to get this device. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the power input is not the best as it looks like it could break easily.

Solved an annoying mixed SDI and HDMI -to switcher problem
We were having annoying problems with our Livestream Studio HD550 receiving input from some of our newer cameras. Audio and video from mixed SDI and HDMI outputs would get out of sync between different brands and ages of cameras. (Older cameras worked great โ new ones didn't.) Putting Decimators inline cleaned everything up. Signal strength is now consistent to the switcher.

Plug-n-Play
Installed these with a 150' SG-6 cable to two TV's and it worked no problems. Very pleased with quality of the device and that it is simple to install. Now if I could just figure out an easy way to pull the cable life would be good!
