Not sure why I have not discovered these before but I'm here now. I'm loving these little additions to my Asian cuisine lately and have been adding them to everything from fried rice to our homemade ramen. Not sure if it's a good price point cuz I haven't been really shopping around but I think it's affordable considering how much you get for all the dishes that you can use them for. We like the single serve packs. That is very convenient. The flavor is so fresh. Not too fishy. It does make a wonderful broth with other additions of course. We absolutely love how they dance on top of the fried rice as soon as it's served. We will continue to buy this for our future culinary adventures.

Got to bring to my home in italy. Its extremely hard to find good Japanese and Asian stuff like this over there. Ive only found something similar in Milano which is 2hr from where I live in veneto. There are Asian shops but its mainly chinese. Still good. Just love my miso soup every day. I grew up having it with rice and a side of natto. Or with dinner. Hope this tastes good. Haven't tried it yet. Can't buy this on Amazon/ italy. Even if you could, unless you use the Amazon lockers, theres vat scam. Which is a pain. Plus items on Amazon/italy cost a lot more. It costs less for me to fill a suitcase full of food items to bring over. Actually priced it out. And I do check what is legal to bring in. Been doing this for 5 years and 0 trouble with customs at fco, Mxp and vce.

I bought these flakes to add to my miso soup. I forgot to use them the first time, and when I remembered the second time it was clear they really improve the soup. I love that they're in small packets, keeping everything fresh longer. The price was in line with other retailers and not overly expensive.

Superb! Oishi!!! Very good with takoyaki!!! Came in individual packets!

I've gotta use the rest I have, but the ones I have used, I enjoyed with my food. I like umami flavours.

I like Katsuobushi. It’s a good source of protein.

I know this is supposed to be for human consumption but my cat went crazy for it. Cheap topper and gives them added protein. The fake were a little more crushed than some of the others I have bought but they seemed fresh.

These bonito flakes are always so good. I love them on top of tofu salad or okonomiyaki. Because they are individually wrapped they always stay fresh too - will buy again and again.

takoyaki isn't good without these.
