SHIMANO SH-RP101 High Performing All-Rounder Cycling Shoe

I am an older rider that rides about 50 miles per week. I wanted a good pair of shoes without spending a lot. These worked out perfect. The fit was perfect according to the size chart and they are comfortable to wear. They are a little snug getting my feet into the shoe but once in, they feel good. The color is all black so relatively neutral in regards to matching paint color. It was easy to get my cleats installed and the shoes appear and feel durable. Good value for the price. My only concern will be how long the Velcro straps last as this appears to be the weak link on this shoe.

They are a great product and the size is just right, they feel amazing the arch support is there. They are very sturdy, the Velcro closure is tough enough and long enough to tighten up just right!

I hesitated a bit, only because it is black (could get hot in summer), and 'dorky.' But I took the plunge during the Prime Day sale. It is very comfortable and light-weight. It looks so much better in person, and in fact, it looks sleek and professional as well. Can't be easier to tighten the shoes and un-do it after a ride. Ventilation is superb for summer ridings!!! As it fits to my feet so well, once tighten the velcro, there is not pressure point at all. Yes, it fits like gloves. :-)

Works great. Very comfortable, even for my wide feet. My only deduction is that the design is difficult to walk in, even short distances.

Wife and I both got the same shoes and my wife loves hers. They fit her very well, easy to slip on and secure and also really light, I was so surprised on how light they felt! Ordered the size 12/46 as I wear a size 12 and wasn't sure how the 46 would feel. I needed to order a size up. Just started the return and will be getting the size 13 delivered tomorrow. I cannot review based on actual riding experience, but you typically can tell if the shoe is going to feel great when trying them on. I'll be back to update on how the riding experience is with them.

If you're mostly a casual cyclist who just wants to get healthy, this is the best you for you. There's just no debating it. It has the best price. It's the most comfortable by far I know because I had to return some gyros which were $100 more and not even nearly as comfortable and it does just what you need and nothing more. One of the things I like about the issues is the fact that they can be put on and off so quickly with a single velcro closure. I can actually take the velcro, close her off and tighten it down during a ride. Something that's very hard to do on some of these other more expensive shoes. This is perfect for indoor riding, specifically with zwift when that little extra bit of power makes the difference. When my feet get tired I can just reduce the pressure and be fine with it. Because I don't use these outdoors. I don't care about how they would deal with weather and stuff like that. But if I did want to go on a serious ride outdoors I could still use them and they have reflective stuff on the back of them which none of the other expensive shoes have. Besides, I'm the kind of guy that when I bike outside I use my DZRs instead since they look so much better and I can walk around in them or go to an art gallery opening.

This is an AWESOME shoe but Amazon makes it nearly impossible to order the proper size. The size chart says women's 9, men's 7, EU 41 but Amazon keeps shipping me the EU 40. I have tried three times. I am super disappointed because the shoe is super comfortable and highly rated but simply too small in EU 40. I'm not sure how to get the right size.

Sizing is good. I ordered a 47 because that’s what I’ve worn in other brands. The EU sizing is traditionally what I use when ordering cycling shoes, even in the US. Fit is good and comfort is also good. What’s not good is the strap. It’s too long and cannot get tight enough. There’s an empty section of cloth between the hooks and loops. It needs to have velcro the entire length of the strap. They become loose easily. The strap is also starting to tear away from the shoe much sooner than expected.

Shoes are pretty good, but the price is a bit steep, the fit us perfect for wide feet and i reccomend going up a size.
