Pro Mini Indoor Basketball Hoop with Ball, Over the Door, Shatter-Proof Backboard, Spring-Action Break-Away Steel Rim, Great for Home, Dorm Room, and Office

This is a very sturdy indoor hoop. We’ve had it for almost two years. It has received heavy use from my 8yr old son, husband and teenage cousins. Despite all of this, it has hung in there and remains in perfect condition.

I bought this as a gift. I was very impressed with the quality. It’s made of metal and hard plexiglass sort of material for the backboard. Rim itself is made of metal. Net is of good quality too. This has held up to a 9 yo dunking on it. It was very easy to assemble. Great for indoor use on a door. Great value.

Ball is really small but otherwise great product!

The backboard had scuffs or some kind of blemish to the left of the rim. I ordered a replacement, and the replacement had similar scuffs in the same general area. I tried wiping it with a microfiber cloth with no success. The scuffs are a little hard to make out in the pics, but they are very visible in person. I decided I wasn't going to try a third time and just returned both of them for a refund. I have since looked at some of the other one star reviews and it appears others have had the same experience with the scuff/blemish.

It is well put together and the directions are pretty easy to follow. However, I wish there was some type of foam or fabric to help buffer the sound. The brackets are wider than I need them to be so it is very loud, rattles, and slides. However, I’m sure if the door and the hoop had a more snug fit it would still be fairly loud and clunky.

My boys and their friends have had countless hours of fun with this hoop. It’s durable ever with hard use which trust me they put it through the wringer. It’s made from high quality material and easy to assemble plus the flip up hoop is a great touch

About five years ago, my son talked my husband into getting him one of these at a Walgreens or something like that and the kid uses it all the time by himself or when he has friends over. I think they paid 25 bucks for it and it’s gotten more used than any other gadget toy or piece of sports equipment he’s ever purchased. He just went off to college and decided to leave his basketball hoop at home so I sent him another one for his dorm room and he absolutely loves it! Every time, I FaceTime with him and he’s using the thing while we talk and he and his suite mates get together and shoot hoops with it as well which has led to him getting to know more people. If you have a child or a teenager who likes this kind of thing I highly recommend it.

This was the best gift for our child - he loves playing it, the height is manageable for him, and it was easy to set up. It will also be perfect for the winter when he can’t play outside.

Overall product is as expected but the backboard was very scratched up. Appears it was either damaged or used and not new.

Has held up well, solidly made

The pump was missing the needle and since it is not standard size needle we could not pump the ball that came with the hoop.

You don’t often think about packaging when ordering a product, but it’s worth mentioning here—especially if you’re purchasing this as a gift. The packaging looks geared toward much younger children than the age range suggested by the product itself. Our son purchased this for a friend turning 13, and the packaging made it feel more like a toddler toy than something intended for a teenager’s bedroom. He did not want to gift it. Additionally, the box arrived crushed and appeared to have been previously opened, which was disappointing since it was meant to be given as a gift. I can’t comment on the quality of the product itself, as we did not open or assemble it before gifting. However, buyers planning to give this as a present may want to be aware of these things.
