Helpful for intro personality assessment course
This book was recommended/required for a course I took. The price was painful, but the text is extremely useful and presents the nuances of the PAI, both in administration, scoring, and interpretation, clearly and in a palatable manner. I'm sure I will continue to refer to it, through assessment practicum cases and into internship.

Helpful for new clinicians
As a psychological trainee in a clinical program, this has been a godsend. This is what I needed to explain the different scales, the validity scales especially. This is my go to now anytime I need to assess a PAI. It is very useful for clients that are a bit more challenging either in interpreting or trying to get a better idea of how scales interact.

Money well spent
The book is full of generally useful information. The validity and reliability information can be found in the test manual so is not really useful here. The chapters on scoring and interpretation are concise, well written and make it easier to come up with a comprehensive picture of the client. It is well worth the investment of both money and time.

Efficient & Handy
This is a great book for a quick reference to PAI interpretation. That said, it does not have some of the helpful details and additional interpretations found in the comprehensive Morey (1996) book.
