I was a bit worried that they might be a carbon fiber knockoff (Like fiberglass wrapped in the carbon decal). They are the real deal though. Full carbon. Incredibly lightweight and so well balanced. They come with various extra tips which is pretty great for hiking different locations (although I haven't tried them all out yet). The wrist straps are nice and wide and comfy as are the cork grips. Solid poles and a fantastic value!
