Why is it for men only?

It has a clip. It also doesn't say "Men Only". No pen is "men only", that's ridiculous.

does this write under water?

I have one, I tested it at a depth of 12 feet in a chlorinated pool. It writes underwater perfectly. Only problem is finding something to write on, I found that the cardboard that they make banana boxes out of seems to hold up well under water.
