Now this is a sick ass lock super strong the key is cool and unique really easy to install drill a couple little holes I like that you don't need the big circle hole and due to the style you don't have to match it up with any other like holes such as like the inside of another door frame it just goes on the outside perfect for my trailer... Living here and crack alley I got to be burglary proof as possible

We redid all new fencing at the front side yard and built and installed a new gate. We wanted a lock that is heavy duty and this lock fit the bill. Works great and easy to install.

Seems to be very heavy duty. Was easy to install and the key and bolt move freely. I purchased the one that was keyed on one side. Just be aware that the key didn't not actually lock the bolt making it unlovable without the key. If someone could get access to the bolt they could move it manually. That made no difference to me as the side with the knob is inside so no one's can access the bolt with the door closed. I purchased another similar cheaper brand and it rusted in a couple of months making it unusable. Hopefully this one lasts longer.

the included screws were too long for my 1-3/8" door, but otherwise it installed without difficulty. smooth operation, included 5 keys and a spade drill bit for cutting the required hole. recommended.

It would have been good. If you can reach the slide bar, you can move it, locked or unlocked. It’s not secure at all. Again, if I put the slide in the lock position, take out the key, I can move the bar with absolute no pressure to the unlocked position. It doesn’t actually lock, they just put a key turn in place of a thumb turn. Meaning you can always move the bar, in any direction, key or no key.

Great lock big limitations It is well made, looks great, functions well and it looks and feels sturdy enough to last a lifetime. The big limitation is it cannot be rekeyed. We have two gates so each gate has to have its own key. I don’t think the product description makes this point clear.

Love this lock. Classes up my crappy fence. Only issue was a lack of skill on my part. You have to make sure you drill perfectly straight (parallel) through the gate to fit the lock otherwise it won't work well. Lock is strong, plenty of spare keys, and great that you can lock and unlock from both sides. Inside you don't need the key.

Awesome sturdy lock with all the bits are included. Great product and super secure. Love these locks.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Fitted to a double door shed, one on each door due to the convenient reversible long throw option. A very tidy appearance on the outside of the doors, convenient thumb turn to lock doors from the inside. Straightforward to fit and secures the doors nicely. The supplied drill bits are a bonus and worked well. As shed doors aren’t very thick, although mine were 28mm log lap, a piece of wood for packing (plywood, pine .. whatever you have) needs to be added to the inside of the shed doors to ensure the external part of the lock finishes tidily outside the shed. Also when sizing that piece of wood watch where the lock fittings attach to, or go through it; don’t get that wrong like me and put screws through the padding piece which get in the way!!! Use the supplied template to check. They are a very long throw as described and this provides a secure lock across the 2 doors. Or very secure if you double up the locks at different heights on the doors. BTW My shed has extra height doors - 2 metres - so that is why I doubled up.

Na het plaatsen van een andere tuinpoort zochten we een stevig en makkelijk te gebruiken slot. Na diverse reviews op verschillende sites en YT, viel de keuze op dit slot. Met de bijgeleverde mal is het plaatsen heel gemakkelijk. Bijgeleverde schroeven zijn lang en van rvs. Bouwkwaliteit is prima en slotbout ongeveer 15mm in het vierkant. Wordt geleverd met 5 sleutels, dus ruim voldoende. Aan te bevelen slot.
