Had a old Alpine in my car when I bought it, no Bluetooth. still sounded good. purchased this Kenwood receiver and I'm very pleased. it's a lot louder and more function ability. I also have Kenwood equipment on my motorcycle fairing and am very pleased with it also.

Fantastic head unit. Tons of adjustments, 5 volt pre outs, very happy with it! A substantial upgrade over my alpine 175bt. My only grievance is when you are adjusting the eq the sound stops for just a second, but only a minor annoyance. Gonna buy two more just to have as finding these features in a single din stereo is becoming a dying breed.

Dropped in a 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Installation was a breeze (if you are using the factory amp, make sure you connect the blue/white stripe "Continuous Power" wire to the solid blue "Power Antenna" wire on the vehicle harness, otherwise your sub won't turn on; if you have an aftermarket amp it will have it's own C Power wire). The colors/lighting and quality are top notch. HIGHLY recommend any head units from the Kenwood Excelon series

so the first radio I got was a DOA with an internal short. something that showed up in some previous reviews or similiar. Got the second radio and have had no issues. For the most part its a great radio, lots of options and looks good. I liked that its one of the few that doesnt look gawdy anymore. just a clean look. One issue I do have thats annoying, sometimes first thing in the morning bluetooth connects and plays fine but any other time through the day you have to go out of blue tooth, like click radio and then back to bluetooth before you get sound. It will connect, you can see that its playing, turn the volume up and you can hear like the silence but you wont get sound until you go out and get back into bluetooth. I believe this has been a documented issue as well.

A bit too menu driven like ALL available now. Oh well, it sounds nice. CD drive sounds superb. Onboard bluetooth DAC is not as good as my Audioengine but functions well for what it is. The display adapts well to ambient lighting if setup correctly. I use its RCA outs only. Never used FM cept to confirm its hooked to cars antenna. Sounds like a radio. If timed correctly this head unit sounds awesome driving my 1400 watts RMS of 3 amplifiers . Be patient and F with all those settings, you wont be disappointed.

It's everything Kenwood is known for. crystal clear sound and plenty of volume , lots of volume, a whole butload of volume. Also higher voltage to the amp means you can get more sound out of your amp without having to turn the volume way up. If you want just raw power and clean sound without all the frills the excelon series is the way to go. 7 stars

Works however the clock does not save, the ken-wood app has constant issues and has almost no features that even make it worth the download, I feel Ike there should be a way to adjust settings of the head unit through the app but have constant trouble connecting it. When switching between blue tooth and the radio there is a massive change of volume that could damage speakers.

Was easy to install and sounds amazing I’ve had a multiple single dins and double dins but this one by far is the best one with Tons of EQ modes including stage eq and plenty other fine running options would definitely recommend buying the unit

What can I say. Kenwood all the way. Bought it for my Harley. Sounds great,have one in my Corvette to. No complaints. I recommend. Quality for little money.

The item is fine. The lack of any packaging was annoying. They slapped a packaging label on the manufacturer box and totally ruined the Christmas surprise being my son was home when the package was dropped off. Talk about advertising to porch pirates I find the packaging pure laziness from the seller and won’t be using them again.
