ONN ONA16AV009 10-inch Portable DVD Player (Renewed)

I was impressed when it arrived less than 24 hours after ordering it, but I was more impressed when I opened it to test it out. The screen is a great size, and it flips so you can hold it like a tablet! It was definitely worth the money as we are road trip a lot, and it gives the kids something to do. I only rated it 3 stars for giftability because I feel everyone has a DVD player. It’s sort of an older tech, but this item was a deal nonetheless.

The volume is low if you have much back ground noise. The screen size and picture are very nice. The player works very well. I bought two one for myself and one for my autistic daughter and we are both happy with our order.

This is a refurbished product and I was hesitant to buy it because of some bad reviews, but the price was great and I decided to take a chance and I am glad I did. It only stays charged for about 4-5 hours but it can be plugged in to continue watching. It comes with a remote and can be used on a TV as well. I haven't tried that feature yet. I have to say I would never pay the high prices of a new never used portable DVD player. It's old technology. I wanted something portable to watch all my old DVD movies and for me, refurbished was the way to go and I highly recommend this product.

This is an Awesome, cheaper / frugal model, yet large personal DVD, CD, USB drive, SD card reader, player. For the cost it has many cool features and the screen itself rotates in several ways on a sturdy base. It is made of cheaper outer layers so to prolong its ware I've added a screen protector and got a 13 inch sleeve to protect it. And a harness for our auto for the kids to watch it in the back seat. Worth looking into :)

I have lots of DVDs, and when my DVD player went kaput, I opted to get a personal DVD player rather than a DVD player to connect to the TV. I picked this "refurbished" model, which is a complete waste of money. I've used it twice, which was perhaps once too many times. Here are the low points of the device: >Made of cheap plastic. >The motor has a constant (annoying) hum as it plays a DVD. >The remote is *completely* dead, even with brand new batteries. Never worked, not even a blip. >The player puts subtitles on the DVDs, and from the main menu of the DVDs, the player refuses to allow me to turn them off. >The ear buds and cords are also made from cheap plastic. I highly recommend that you save your money and move on. There's nothing to see here.

So DURABLE! Worked great for our car trip, then this became our toddlers that he operated on his own basically (unfortunately) and I cannot believe how many times it has been dropped and it is in impeccable condition!! LITERALLY AMAZING! Not suggesting to throw yours around, just want to say how unbeleivably impressive the quality of this item is!

It takes an entire night to charge the battery. The buttons are raised too much from the base so that when you swivel the screen and fold it backwards the panel presses a few buttons at a time and stops/interrupts the playback.

I purchased this item because I frequently go on long trips with my 5 year old. He gets "board" and starts to complain so I thought this maybe a good solution at this point of his life. I was correct. My friends told my I should get a ipad/amazon pad, but this was cheaper and I'm cheap so... I get my non-blueray DVDs from the library and off we go. We are both super happy and entertained the entire trip. Good battery life (4+ hours) and plug in is perfect for my older car.
