Possible Gluten Free Great Chapattis
Makes a good consistency chapatti for gluten free flour and puffs well. Am excited but ……..Ingredients list a bit vague - ‘starch’ ‘vegetable fibre’. I am checking out with the manufacturer’s at present if there are any additives, guns etc in the product and what the ‘starch’ is and the ‘veg fibre’. Fingers crossed 🤞 no nasties. Oh dear - company finally replied and won’t say what the ingredients are in the ‘starch’ or if any is modified. How disappointing. They say it complies with labelling regs ……. People wouldn’t be happy with eg ‘protein’ and not knowing what it is.

Excellent but a bit expensive
This is an excellent product I like making my chapati out of this flour. My only criticism is its very expensive, hence I rated it 4 star. O have found a local worldwide supermarket that sell it for £4.99 so buying them from there. It was very expensive on here

Worked out quite expensive
Loved the way the chapatis turned out. Perfect gluten free chapatis, wasn't able to get them as thin as they should be, but a great substitute. At 4.99 a bag and 4.99 delivery, it turned out to be quite expensive, however, that seems to be the case with gluten free goods. The taste and texture a left the chapatis almost indistinguishable from the regular kind. My non gluten free husband tried them and said they were very good. Will be buying again, despite the price, as I haven't found a good, cheaper alternative. Actually, I haven't found any alternative.

Delicious roti at last!
After the first delivery where product arrived damaged ( the packet was torn and flour had leaked out) , the company immediately sent a replacement the next day. I’ve been gluten free for more than 5 years so was very excited to try this flour. I have now made roti twice and each time it’s been delicious, the consistency of the dough is not as elastic as I recall from atta with gluten ( not surprisingly) so the roti is slightly thicker but it cooks really well, and tastes absolutely delicious. Will be buying again.
