No, but it will protect you blueberry bushes, apple trees, and etc.

Will this netting provide light frost protection for plantings in zone 9?

Purchaced product to protect strawberries from critters eating all the fruit. In zone 5 (SWNY) I have successfully used old bed sheets, blankets and old curtains (from thirft shops or lawn sales) to protect from frost. I have not tried the product for frost protection and would not risk the loss of crops/plants just to find out. Product is very thin and is made to let water and sunlight through. Good luck.
