Could help sleep and early waking up
Purchased with the Valerian Root to help sleep/cortisol control. Took 2g of each and steeped for 5 minutes. May be placebo but have definitely slept better the 3 nights since having this before bed. Warning: if you have cats they go crazy around this stuff and try and drink the tea.

Smells bad but it really works
Great tea if you need help to relax and sleep. Smells awful but the taste is not so bad. But it definitely works! I have problems to sleep and it was a great natural help.

I’m a convert
Not naturally a fan of these things but needed to try something to help me stay asleep. I don’t necessarily drop off faster but I stay asleep a lot longer than I used to. I used to wake up very frequently throughout the night. So in that respect it seems to help me. I use an in cup tea infuser also I put in a Dr Stuart’s valerian teabag, just for the added ooomph and a bit of flavour. I also infuse the same mixture 2 times in the evening, as it’s a nice sipping drink and it’s quite expensive so I like to get my money’s worth by using it twice.

With perseverance it works!
I've been suffering with poor sleep for some time now and have tried practically everything on the market. I read the reviews but I wasn't convinced this would work until I came across a review that stated it took a few days for the tea to start working. The first night i took it I felt a bit drowsy but I didn't sleep well. The second night was a bit hit and miss, I fell asleep but woke up nearly every hour. The third night I was knocked out fairly quickly and slept in the following morning. This really does work but it did take a few nights. I'm a tea connoisseur so I really liked this product. I didn't think it smelt bad at all and it had a lovely smokey taste to it. I used a good couple of teaspoons and brewed for a good ten minutes. Considering it's a natural product, I am more than impressed with the results.

Terrible quality, do not recommend.
I've had valerian root from other suppliers before and it's usually been good, this stuff? Rotten, stinks like a pig farm, dirty like it's been swept off the floor, it has literally got stones in it. Absolutely unfit for purpose, I can't even put it in the compost because I have no idea what's in it that's making it smell that disgusting.

Tasty but there are too many stones and soil clumps
The taste is nice but has a potent smell. The smell doesn't bother me too much. The main problem is that there are lots of stones and soil clumps in the package, which makes for a gritty tea. I was hoping for a bit more care in sorting the product.

Better than expected
Tastes horrible and smells as bad but is OK with fresh mint and it is fine. It really does help you sleep and that was the reason to try it. I knew from the reviews about the smell and taste so went in with my eyes wide open. Lot of it so will last a long time and as it comes loose, you can vary the amount you use.

I've been exploring natural remedies to improve my sleep quality, and Organic Valerian Root Tea has become a staple in my nightly routine. The earthy aroma and taste are distinctive, but I find them grounding and comforting. Brewing a cup about 30 minutes before bed helps me unwind and signals to my body that it's time to relax. I've noticed a significant improvement in falling asleep more quickly and experiencing fewer nighttime awakenings. I appreciate that this tea is USDA certified organic, ensuring that I'm consuming a product free from harmful pesticides and additives. The quality of the dried valerian root is evident, and the packaging keeps it fresh between uses. For those new to valerian root, be aware that the taste can be an acquired one. However, adding a touch of honey or blending it with chamomile can enhance the flavor. Overall, Organic Valerian Root Tea has been a gentle and effective aid in promoting restful sleep. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a natural alternative to sleep aids.
