I have two little boys that love finding out about how things work and doing experiments and so on and they cannot wait to get stuck into this kit! It looks very comprehensive and well put together with full and concise instructions, This is definitely going to fill a few rainy day activities in the school holidays.

I ordered this game for my nephew abroad who just turned 7 years old and is fascinated by everything to do with space. He might still be a bit young to fully understand this model although it is targeted for his age and up to 10 years old, so he will be able to grow into it so to speak. He already loves and is very adept with Lego and looking at the assembly, I have no doubt he will be totally at ease with this too which as part of the futuristic NASA base in space has an explorer rover that can be assembled in many different combinations, a little bit like Lego. I chose this also because it is multilingual and includes his first language to make things easy. It will make a great present, educational and fun exploring the red planet Mars and the past missions and the life of Astronauts. The set also includes a mini drone. The only downside for me is the packaging. It arrived in a well branded box with room for the components but as they have been rattling around in the box, parts have already parted from the strip that they were attached to (not broken but makes it look shabby). Also the booklet had a piece stuffed inside of it which in turn has creased some of the sticky labels and the cover of the book, making them look dishevelled. This is a shame as it could easily be rectified with more careful packaging. The seeds are for demonstration purposes/observation/model enhancement once they have grown and are not for general consumption. The model looks like it will be fun. I just hope that all the parts are intact. At £28.20 it is reasonably priced for this type of model.

My son has fun using this. You get to build your own mini space station complete with moon patrol rover buggy. This was the fun bit. Once it’s built you then have some experiments you can do such as looking at plants. Studying rocks. Looking at life such as ants. It’s a nice set and builds of a lot of stem science skills including biology and chemistry. The experiments are safe and simple. They do require some adult supervision. It’s one of those play kits you get out on a rainy day and so together. It comes with easy to follow instructions for assembling and for the experiments.

Very interesting toy which helps to combine fun with a bit of learning as well, however package arrived damage, box was open and some parts seems to be missing. Contains small elements therefore wont be suitable for small children. Love the idea of planting your own greens- really interesting even for an adults too.

Tolles Spielset. Man könnte Ameisen auch rein machen. Wir haben es aber nicht gemacht, da wir bereits eine Ameisenfarm besitzen. Mein Sohn spielt gerne damit.
