Although advertised as 5 mm, it was not. It was more like 3 mm. It would not hold the shelves in the frame we had because the product was not as described. The quality of the material itself seemed fine but the inaccurate description of the size made it not usable for our situation. It should not be too much to ask that a seller represent the product accurately. Read the reviews of other people who had the same experience I did. The product is smaller than described and the company does not accept returns. This should not be an Amazon's Choice!

I recently built some cabinets with adjustable shelving using the Kreg 5mm shelf pin jig which drills 5mm holes. This 50 pack of polished nickel support clips worked perfectly and a good value for the money.

My cabinets have 5mm holes for shelf supports. The supports I purchased previously were actually a tad under, about 4.8mm, and installed snug but relatively easily, they also had rubber pads and my shelves never rocked. These shelf supports are not all at right angles, some are crooked so the wood shelves rock. Also the posts taper from 4.98 to 5.20mm which means I have to pound them in with a hammer and it wallows out the hole so that other supports will no longer fit. I wouldn't buy these again and wouldn't recommend them. I might even toss them and buy a better quality.

I was very careful in my measurement and purchase of these shelf pegs. I needed 5mm pegs and ordered two packages to try them even though the reviews stated there were size problems. Sure enough, when they arrived, I slipped one into one of the 5mm bookcase holes and the peg immediately fell out onto the countertop. I measured the pegs sent and they were CLEARLY 3mm not 5mm. If i hadn't been so careful in my measurements, I would have assumed it was my error. I tried again with three other pegs and the same thing happened with all of them. I will not be ordering this product again because of the obvious problem the manufacturer has with the accurate sizing of its products.

the cheap home builders used plastics, plastics for 30 pounds or more of ceramics and plates??? Anyway, the plastic cabinet bracket broke when my infant was crawling next to me while I was putting away the dishes. Yikes! Fortunately, the wall facing one broke. Thanking God, I bought this well priced and affordable metal brackets and replaced out the plastics. If anything falls out, it'll probably be the entire cabinet.

Bought these shelf supports as well as some 1/4 inch ones. (I wasn't sure of the correct size for my needs, but at this price it doesn't hurt to have extras of either size.) These are good solid brackets... better than anything you'd find in Home Depot. I am currently using them to replace missing supports in an etagere with glass shelves that has some expensive items in it, and I can't afford for the shelves to fall. I totally trust these brackets, they are solid and nicely made. I had some questions and the seller (a Mom and Pop company) answered promptly. Great customer service! So many items use shelf supports, and they're easy to lose so it's nice to have extras on hand. They are also very nicely packaged in an easily storable and labeled small cardboard box, which means they'll be easy to find next time I need them.

These "should be" very sturdy, designed to do what they are meant to do. They don't. The peg is way too small to keep the support in the unit, thus they will not stay. Bottom line, they fall out. Poor design. Did not fit in either unit I tried. Waste of money.

Decent peg and would be great if the sizing was correct. Unfortunately the 5mm pegs are not 5mm. The peg is smaller and therefore does not fit tightly into a standard 5mm hole. I have other shelves at home that can use this small peg, but I had to purchase others for my 5mm needs.
