I pump every 2-3 hours so my nipples are always sensitive and sore. When I first heard about these cups, I was a bit skeptical since I haven’t heard of them being used by anyone I know. There also isn’t much about them online in general. After using them for a week, I’m loving them so much! My nipples feel less sore and I don’t get these weird sharp pains I was feeling before using these. Also I like that they prevent my nipples from rubbing onto my bra so they don’t feel sensitive all the time. They’re like shields that mold to my breast very well and are so lightweight that I don’t even feel them there. I even sleep with them on every night. Cleaning is a breeze as well. They include a cute little carrying case for them but I never use it since I’m wearing the cups at all times.

The LaVie silver nursing cups exceeded my expectations. I was concerned it would be uncomfortable wearing something hard on your nipples, but it has not been uncomfortable at all. I was surprised that I could hardly feel I was even wearing them. They are soothing as advertised, and very lightweight. I also really liked the concept of the silver cups being antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antifungal. I am exclusively pumping for a medically fragile little boy, so the concept of this was exciting to me. Every little bit of extra protection is important. They also came with a little storage case which will be nice to store them in when I am not wearing them . They aren't hard to care for, but It does recommend rubbing the cups once a week with a silver polish cloth. That cloth wasn't in the package so that is something you would need to buy. Overall, great product

I have 4 kids. I've breastfed all of them. I'm also the "suffer in silence" type. So last 3 kids, I dealt with painful breastfeeding. All latched fine, no issues, just sore and cracked from nursing and rubbing against fabric which dried the skin out. I'm currently dealing with my 1 month old having thrush. It's been so painful to the point I'm bleeding and was really thinking about getting formula. I decided to use these for the first time and I wish I had sooner. Just put a couple drops of breastmilk in it and put it on. It keeps it from getting rubbed and smooshed against the fabric and breastmilk keeps it from drying out while healing any damage. After less than a day, it feels way better and less painful. It also stays put unlike what I thought and I'm grateful for how well these help!

I liked this product for taking care of my nipples while I was first pumping with my baby. It helped to sooth and heal the cracks that I had by using the milk that pooled in the cups. I also liked that I didn’t have to keep changing it. I simply had to rinse it and wipe it to keep it clean. The only thing I had a hard time with was it pinching my skin. I have larger breasts, so it hurt if my bra was too tight or if it wasn’t placed nicely. Otherwise, it’s a very easy to use product.

Didn't have these until my 3rd kid and I AM IN LOVE with them! I have struggled with blocked ducts and pain and discomfort while nursing and having to wear bras. So for kid #3 I knew I needed a solution -- and these are the miracle cure for my issues!!! I pop them into place and it prevents my bra from squishing me uncomfortably. They are obvious under my shirt however which is a drawback. BUT because they are such a solution I just have worked to get over that fact that people will notice them under my shirt -- they don't know that they aren't my nipples but I would 100% rather be wearing them than not. Though one word of advice... don't go thru a metal detector with these in place! I learned that lesson the interesting way...

The product definitely keeps your nipples from rubbing up against clothes. It didn’t necessarily make my nipples renewed after pumping and breastfeeding though. And the sides dug into my skin while wearing.

I have been suffering from painful, cracked nipples for months! I have tried every balm or cream & gotten minimal relief. I was skeptical about this product but after using for ONE night I am completely pain free / finally healing. They are petite, very light weight & barely noticeable when being worn. I actually woke up & totally forgot I was wearing them! Easy to clean to as well! I am truly amazed & incredibly thankful for this product.

I received these in the mail quickly and was impressed upon opening the package. The cups are packaged neatly and come with a cute little pouch to store them in. They are lightweight, easy to handle, and seem to be made of real silver. I have been having some leakage since I am late in pregnancy and these are great for putting in your bra to catch any liquid. I haven’t actually started breastfeeding yet since I’m still pregnant but I can’t wait to try them once my little guy arrives. Highly recommend this product!

Was a little unsure about this product, didn’t think it would work. But out of desperation I ordered and gave them a shot, and they really work. You just need to express a drop or two of milk before putting them on and they’ll do wonders. I didn’t think I would be able to breastfeed my baby anymore because of how painful my nipples were, but these fixed everything entirely.

So, the way to use this according to the manufacturer is to use a few drops of breast milk to coat the inside of the covers before using them to cover your nipples. Well this only works if you also use some breast milk to moisturize your nipples at the same time. Unless, the covers dry to your nipples and they can be painful to remove or peel off if stuck. Note that you cannot use any ointments with this shield, which beats its purpose imo. If all you want is your nipples protected from rubbing on tops and other fabric, then buy this maybe.

I bought these and didn’t use them at first because I forgot and was trying the nipples creams. My baby hated the cream and I noticed it was harder to hand express. My nipples were getting chafed and I wore them between feedings. Within one feeding most of the redness and bleeding was under control! Luckily I don’t need them too much anymore but they’ve been so helpful, I highly recommend!
