LOVE this cacao powder, it mixes easily & the taste is rich and delicious!!!

100% non-alkalized cacao bean retains more nutrients compared to “alkalized” “cocoa”. Cacao refers to the raw, less-processed form of the cacao bean, while cocoa is the processed version that is roasted at higher temperatures. This cacao powder is rich in antioxidants, resveratrol and flavonoids known to help better reduce inflammation. As it states, it also supports heart health and enhances mood, energy and cognition. This chocolate aroma is true. This product and brand is the healthier choice for us. It also mixes well so we use it in protein drinks, smoothies, baking, etc.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product. The chocolate is not sweet but also not bitter. I sometimes add it to warm milk and a very small amount of honey for a warm bedtime drink or add it to my protein powder for a boost of chocolate flavor.

This stuff is great! I like to use it in making homemade “candy bars” which is just coconut oil, cocoa powder, & maple syrup. I’ll also use it to make hot chocolate. But let me tell you, there’s a reason they tell you a little goes a long ways on the back of the bag! I usually use 1 cup regular chocolate powder for my “candy bars”, don’t ever use that much. 1 tablespoon is plenty. 2 tablespoons is plenty for brownies. 1/2-1 teaspoon is plenty for hot chocolate. I’ve also found that I can’t eat it much…. My kids enjoy it more. But it says it has less caffeine than regular powdered chocolate. I’ve found that to not be true. I’m very caffeine sensitive. I don’t drink anything with caffeine & rarely eat chocolate. I don’t really have any reaction to regular chocolate powder for the small amounts I do eat rarely. But I had a small amount of my kids “candy bar” using only 1 tablespoon of this in our recipe & it gave me symptoms of high caffeine, which is heart racing, feeling jittery, headache, clammy hands, etc.

2nd time ordered, we put it in oats and coffee most.

Very good cacao and priced very reasonably, processed without alkalines or Dutch processing.

Love this. I don’t know if its actually doing anything positive health wise but I love how my coffee tastes with a scoop of it. Can’t drink coffee now without it
