I recently purchased this battery as a replacement for my HP Pavilion 15-DW, and I'm extremely happy with it! The installation was straightforward, fitting perfectly into my laptop without any issues. Right after installing, my laptop powered on without a hitch, and the battery life has been excellent. I'm getting a solid few hours of use, comparable to when my laptop was new. It charges efficiently and holds a charge well, which is exactly what I needed.

The user manual did not cover installation, but then that's really dependent on the model of the laptop, so no points off. I googled my hp laptop's model number and came up with an excellent YouTube on how to install the battery. The only hard part was separating the bottom of the computer from the main part. But the battery came with the right Phillips screwdriver (which I needed) and torx driver (not needed on my model). Also included were two guitar picks which helped greatly with separating the bottom from the main part. The project is very doable by anybody somewhat handy with tools. The new battery lasts many hours before needing to be charged.

Product came new, very well packaged. It was easy to replace old battery with this one and so far I am very happy with purchase.

Not too bad for a computer battery it fit like it should. Works fine too. My only problem was that 2 of the holes for the screws were broken but I got it to work with some small washers.

Battery that was bought last September started swelling and having trouble charging. The vendor was very quick to ship out a replacement battery. Excellent customer service!

(Edit: after a few weeks, the battery is now draining 10% every 15 minutes) It takes a bit of gentle prodding to open a laptop case; it is best to review how beforehand. Search for a video. Then follow what you saw. Of course turn off the laptop and disconnect the power cord. A couple of screws removed and slide the old battery out and discard or recycle but be safe. Store the used battery out of the house just in case until you dispose of it. Slide the new one gently onto the prongs and reinsert screws. That is it. Gently replace the cover, and push gently along the way to snap it back in place. Then turn on the laptop to be sure it is working. Most likely reinsert the power cord to give it a good charge. That really is all there is to it. Installing the new one could not have been easier.

My 14 inch HPs battery has been dying for over a year and getting worse. I had a hard time trying to find the replace battery number on the HP website but took a chance on this once. The replacement was easy and quick (I am a bit techy). Now my laptop is like new

O.K. S'adapte sans problème et fonctionne bien. Trois fois moins cher que la batterie commandée chez HP. A voir dans le temps.

Einbau problemlos, passt perfekt - hervorzuheben ist: - notwendige Schraubendreher (Torx und Kreuz) sind anbei - Plektron zum Öffnen eines Laptopgehäuses ist auch anbei - Genaue und korrekt übersetzte Anleitung für das initiale Akkutraining und die alltägliche Arbeit ist auch anbei (bravo!). Ein Video über den Einbau in HP Pavillion-Geräte findet man leider nicht beim Hersteller, aber über den Titel "HP Pavillion 14 replace battery" oder ähnliches kann man so etwas finden, falls gewünscht. Nach dem Einbau ist ein CMOS-Reset fällig, ggf. vorher die Einstellungen des BIOS bzw. UEFI notieren. Der Akku und alles oben Erwähnte machen erst einmal einen wirklich guten Eindruck bei sehr gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, über die Langlebigkeit / Abnutzung des Akkus kann ich noch nichts sagen. Daher erst einmal 5 Sterne, in 1/2 - 1 Jahr werde ich hier evtl. auch noch etwas dazu sagen können.
